Any ship big enough to have a pond would have entirely self-contained gravitational generators and nullifiers, similar to those in starfighters but on a much larger scale. Evasive maneuvers wouldn't even cause a ripple on the pond.

i was gonna say something to the end.... but then i started thinking about how funny it would be if it DID fly everywhere....... Mack, just for you i'll invent something to nullify gravity modifyers XD

For those of us who missed that conversation, what is the official stance on ships' gravity? Is it all artificial gravity, no gravity, acceleration physics, or something else I haven't thought of?

What you are asking was never discussed, but earlier in this topic Mackeroth said his pond wouldn't spill during battle due to sme sort of gravity.

There are inertial dampeners on all ships, which stop excessive G-forces tearing you apart when accelerating.
