I did that in my A-seires ships and now again in the B-series. Having the non-textured see-through blocks is just awesome.

I am confuzaled as to what you mean. i used EE.

I like the blue lines but could be a bit longer.

You need more variation, because right now its some glass, lots of iron, and some sapphire blocks. Maybe you could add a second line of blue on the outer edges or something.

I would suggest curving the wings, so they'd look like

Also, maybe add a little indent at the aft of the wings, as well? Like this:

(sideways above) This would add a little more depth to it. You also might look into adding a rear section to the craft, like an engine segment with wings or so-forth, like a modern aircraft.

i did the second one, but when i tried the first it didn't look right.(btw you need to use placeholders, i had to quote to see clearly)
and the back section is a troop dropoff. because of you guys my semi-small heavy fighter became a troop carrier as well. but at least it holds more armament. It is supposed to look a little akward, seeing as it is a heavy fighter/anti-fighter.

i have two other ships if you want to see them. you can pick one of two, the fighter that is doneish, but needs suggestions to get the look right, and the not at all done "colossus destroyer"(needs a better name.) class.(haven't really even started.)

Let's see the fighter!

I like the first one.

Use slabs more. And netherbrick, as it comes with steps. Never underestimate the power of slabs and steps to make things look better. If you have a look at any of the best Minecraft builders, they use slabs and steps 90% in their builds.

Netherbrick? Honestly, anything from the nether except glowstone should be banned from ship building.

There isn't a single slab or piece of netherbrick on any of my ships, and they still look fine. They are a bit bigger than most people's ships, so I do see how slabs could be useful.
