This took me an hour or two to create. However i don't know how the GUI work, like the scroll feature i would not know how to create the code such that you can scroll up or down. i just know how to design graphically.

What kind of GUI would you like me to make?

it would be more accurate with sizing. Well technically you could make GUI as big as you want, but for placing item, your right i would have to use the GUI in the mineraft. jar. I did it this way because i did not want to look for the images in the minecraft jar.

I know. I just wanted to help if you ever did need the vanilla ones. You said you didn't want to look for them.

What you need to remember is that GUI pictures should NOT contain buttons. The game generates the buttons over the image, so you just need to make a blank space where a button should be. And I'm pretty sure its the same with a scroll bar.

How are maps (the item) saved?

Anyway, what they do is just copy paste. It sounds interesting and easy. Would that be acceptable for our purposes?

Currenlty I think it will be this;

A schematic upload thing + a bubble of creative.
