Yeah, pretty much. I tried to take a size comparison shot next to the Reckoning, but just as I was about to hit F2, the COMPUTER crashed.

1.5km long OK. I know I go on about this, and I know I'm hypocritical because my largest ship hasn't hit the 150 mark yet. But really? A super-dreadnaught is a klick and a half long? I'm sorry, but that's just not right. That doesn't work by any actual ship scaling system I know of. Even Star Trek wouldn't call that a super-dreadnaught.

PC stands for Personal Computer, it includes Macs, Linux, and all other OSes as well. However, I assume you mean a Windows computer. Guess what, I WAS using a Windows computer. Ha!

Well, imitation is the best form of flattery... Only the shape is similar, the detailing is going to be a little more... Mackeroth. See, the problem was I could never get the back right. So I'm using your back, with my own front and detailing, and it should work!

This is very much of an argument of someone making a drawing that sucks and declaring it fine art. I myself am a pretty big proponent of some form of unified ship scale, but noooo. :/ Yeah, I don't generally count Bestine-class, but if it comes down to it, that one is 24 times longer than yours. I don't have any problem with the ship you're building, except that referring to a ship smaller than an ImpStar as a super-dreadnaught is pretty ridiculous.

| It's about substance.
No one, I repeat, no one, has built a legitimate ship over 1km yet save for Laserbilly and soon, Mackeroth. Half the people on this forum struggle to exceed 400m. And even if we were all for some reason prolific minetards with no lives, there's no guarantee that the engine will support bigger craft.
It would be nice if we could get authentically scaled ships (I even tried to do that for a while), it simply is not feasible in any sense, and unless you're willing to prove otherwise by building something bigger than the behemoths that have been pumped out, it's apt to remain that way.

| You should all be pleased to know that I made a stupid error in the design of the engines, and was forced to redo them. This is a top-down view of what the left engine now looks like (I will add detailing, and connect it to the body of the ship later): Also, this ship is much bigger than I expected. MCedit makes it seem a lot smaller than it actually is. | |

| Okay, I messed up the dreadnought too badly. I didn't stick to the plan, and it became impossible to work with. Anyway, I've started a new ship. It'll be a battle-cruiser. It's 755 meters long (once it's done). Here's a picture (unfortunately it's the best I can do until it's near completion, I put a sun-roof over the ship, and had to X-ray it on Chunky). The engines still need to be added, and the front section. If anyone can tell me the inspiration for this ship in its current early state, I will name it after them. P.S. The ship is a lot more complete than the picture makes it out to be, the hull is actually there. | |

| It looks slightly Halo-ish, but there isn´t really a ship there that looks like this.
Star Trek also fails, their ships are quite flat, no matter the race.
Star Wars comes to mind, but effectively fails on second thought. Classic Republic and Imperial designs are usually just a basic geometric body, nothing special.
E.V.E.-ships also look different.
It doesn´t look like a train, so it definetly isn´t Warhammer 40k.
Doctor Who doesn´t really use actual spaceships, but rather TARDIS-like transcendental engineering.
We can forget BSG and Stargate as well, they look completely different.
Mass Effect also has a different look for the ships...
I´m running out of Science fiction franchises.
