I'm not fishing, I genuinely don't like the ship. I have a lot of pride, granted, but I know when A build is bad, and that ship is bad.
Well, maybe not bad, but it isn't as good as some of my others.

It's different but not bad. Trust me. It may not be the best, but it is good.

Try building a ship with diagonal wings. They can give you the same depth as full wings but without the height.

Yeah, I might build small diagonal fins on my current cruiser.


I'm liking my newest ship. I think I'm finally understanding how form works. The interior will be a pain, but at least I'll be able to live with it.

well it's not creepy I say, alien ships are creepy ... this one looks like part of a redstone stuff (due to the red thingies and the structure that looks like the wire columns in those creations)

This would be a great design for ban-hammer but with 100 times bigger would be great and an interior.

Well, at least your enemies won´t know where the guns are since everything looks like it could start shooting anytime.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

If you want creepy, make it organic and not as clean-cut. I'd add a huge weapon on the front and maybe add some sort of "infected" look.

That's exactly what I did with the old Banhammer. I took a clone of the ship and, using a brush on MCedit, painted organic vine-like structures over the hull. It looked pretty cool, too.

Anyway: thanks for all the praise guys. It really was just a study too see whether the design would be cool for a larger ship or not. I'll make another ship in a similar style that is twice the size. Those small ships always end up with funny multi-coloured interiors.

Or you could slowly add on to a core, like add 1 new section of the banhammer per night and after 2 months you have a super detailed 1 km ship
