Sure, I'll put my texture pack at the bottom of my OP (under ship classes). But be forewarned, it's a 128x128 pixel texture pack! I am currently working to bring it down to 16x16, but I have to replace A LOT because the images just don't look anything like their 128 sized brothers....
Donesn't anything above 64x64 require GLSL shaders? If the 128 works with Optifine I'll use that...

Really? It took me 14 minutes to download. But it's a great texture pack, if not a bit too primitive for my regular ships. Yeah, it's a whopping 44mb! And I wouldn't call it primitive...just gritty. | |

I used a retextured netherbrick for the main hull, and netherrack for the detailing. I was really happy with how the Sythe turned out. | |

| If by my previous ship, you mean the ship I posted a couple days ago, then good, because it's the same ship!  (also, I spelled "scythe" wrong the first few times around) I just wanted to post some more pics of the ship so everyone could get a better look at it. I just think it's such a pretty ship, in spite of my clunky add-ons. | |

It's really that color. I was fooling around with colorizing a plate-metal texture and I kind of accidentally stumbled on the color for the nether bricks. I thought it came really close to the source material's coloring so I used it for the taking pictures of the ship. I think I might make the color a bit darker than it is now though. On another note, I think I could just replace the nether bricks with colored wool and have a pretty similar effect. But I think _ might have something against that.... | |

| I had a really cool idea for a frigate over the weekend and have been working on it every spare moment I've had since then. I've made a lot of progress and hope to finish by tomorrow or Friday night. Here's a teaser for now: - Spoiler:

Agreed. Do more like this. It does look really nice (it's the texture pack. Soooo coool!) I admit. However, it isn't an original design: it is a Vulcan ship of Star Trek Enterprise. Why don't I get comments like that for my ships? I go to all the trouble, and then get: "looks good, can't see it", or "sound design". I know I can be extremely arrogant, I do it on purpose, but is that really reason to be shipist? | |

Tiel, I appreciate the complement, thank you. Keon, I might eventually build more of these, but as both Mac and I have already pointed out, this is a Vulcan ship and I'd rather build my own stuff.
