Artificial doesn't mean plastic... But they are on the outside, making them useless as life support.

But then as soon as you deactivate the shield, your dead. That had one like that on Atlantis, didn't go so well. They nearly all died.

Anyways, the thing is that no matter which way you spin it, those trees are ridiculous. If they have a function (which Ivan seems to think they do) it's like making a ship with a giant bulls-eye over the weak spot labeled "Shoot Here to Kill Us". If not, then it's a waste of space and a silly visual Sorry if I seem rude, but I call it how I see it. Brutal honesty is one of my less attractive traits. PS - The post about the ship said they were artificial constructs that contain synthetic chlorophyll. Ergo, plastic trees that are green. Seriously, that is ALL that chlorophyll does. PPS - Mac, I love that new avatar.

PPS - Mac, I love that new avatar. O.K. I´ll explain: The trees get fed CO2 through the "logs", the leaves use light in order to turn it into O2 and C, converts the C into coal to get additional fuel for the generators and voila! P.S.: I think someone could bring in another ship soon...

A flying-saucer with a tubey-body, that can detach from each other. All the command structure escapes, so it's alright. The redshirts.... Eh

Eh This thread changed into a discussion about the colours of Star Trek uniforms, didn´t it? Anyway, I will now post another ship! The Halberd! Size: unknown max. speed: unknown weaponary: a lot of various energy weapons and the so-called Combo-Cannon Captain: Sir Meta Knight Franchise: Kirby, but I personally prefer the SSBB- version because it contains more awesomeness. Kirby itself actually isn´t a sci-fi franchise and there are even doubts if the Halberd is a spaceship or an airship, but I have posted it anyway.

Well normally you're only supposed to think ONE ship is the greatest... I think there isn´t such a thing like the best ship. No ship is best in every way. A ship might be the largest or the most powerful, but that automaticly kicks it out of competition for the title of the most balanced... You know what I mean.

| Yeah but the "greatest ship" here basically means your favorite, not the best. A ship that has the specs that you like the most. | |
