Yeah, probably should have said something about it. I just thought it was a cool video of what these planets could look like...if they were actually cubes which of course they won't be, probably.
Oh, and we can probably do shadows pretty cheaply.

I know, but my intehrated graphics failard is alergic to them, so I would have to disable it for myself.

From what i can tell, its not opengl(which it can run i think), its nearly all forms of gpu lighting. Blockadr runner for example, i got good fps on it, but then they add a basic form of lighting, bam 5 fps. 90% of all source games with the new version of sourcr e that uses shadows to any significant degree, 10 fps(if im lucky) unless i turn them off. Kerbal space program? It has a interesting little dynamic shadow system, 10 fps if im lucky. Vessel? Constant lag. Virtually any game on a 3d engine that uses any but the cheapest lighting techniques is virtually unplayable for me. I bet that my gpu would literally say "*#@* you" and walk away if i even tried to start something like BF3.
Tl;dr: don't buy a laptop that isnt custom made for gaming and expect it to not act like it uses vacuume tubes when you run a game.

I suddenly have the urge to buy BF3, max it out, and see what my laptop would do

Watch out , BF3 is one of the worst games I ever played , simply because it doesn't work for me ... crashes DX and my vid driver like a minute into the game ... Wasted money and no support from dice/EA , which means I'm not going to buy BF games anytime soon. Crysis is a good game to test your comp BTW , works fine for me .

its the worst game when you don't have the right hardware for the game. Your fault your computer can't handle it. Its not bad game, on the contrary

Well you can argue its good or bad, I know that I didn't get help from those who should (My comp is more than able to handle BF3 as it handles all new games such as ME3 and Skyrim which are no worse than BF3) help me and currently the game has no content for me. If I bought a game with no content for me any other game is better so I'm giving it 0/10 (its pointless to discuss content if you cant reach it, isn't ?) ... I might change my mind if I solve this problem but otherwise the 0/10 stands ... If you follow this line of thinking everything should become clear to you .

you barely made any sense, what i get out this is that you think the game sucks because your computer can't play so you give it a 0/10. Sorry buddy but your computer sucks. You can't judge a game you've never played, that does not make sense. You can say you don't like it based on preference ,but judging from the other games you play you can't say that either.
