what are special weapons

when i looked on the summary of futurecraft post it said something about special weapons on the lager ships what would theses weapons be (examples)

Chainsaw wings.

Potato gun? How about a gun that shoots a bunch of PotatOS? THEY COULD SLOW CLAP THE ENEMY TO DEATH!

Well, YOU and all the other DEVs could film what you are working on, and give that as a movie for us all when it comes out(And at the end give us the crafting recipe for the easter egg ship, but make it only visible for .25 seconds)

A city ship could explode, it would have lots of oxygen in it. A cruiser could too. And nuclear reactions still make big shiny lights. Look at the sun. It isn't combusting, but it still glows. So yes, nuclear barrages would make big fireballs.

Sure, memory leaks sounds fine. Just play Star Wars to it, and when you are done, play the Space Oddessy Theme.

Actually, most nukes are fission. Thermonuclear weapons are fusion, and they make a much bigger bang.

The sun is FUSION, too. hydrogen fusion, I believe.

Well shit. I was going to say something, but then I went and looked it up. Turns out this is actually right. Thermonuclear does refer exclusively to fusion. Specifically, it's any nuclear reaction that is triggered by intense heat.
The sun is indeed performing hydrogen fusion. In the red giant phase, it is predominately helium fusion taking place at a much higher temperature.

Fun fact: our sun is not an original or even second-generation star, but a third-generation. The original stars were super massive blues consisting of almost pure hydrogen. They all burned out quickly and probably none remain today. Through supernova the elements up to iron were synthesized. The second supernova fuses those and takes us up through the entire periodic table.

I wonder what sort of elements a third nova would produce...
