PostSubject: A question that was never awnsered   Wed Sep 19, 2012 5:31 pm

So there was this post, and i'm not sure if it was about this or if it just came up in the comments, but it was about this giant rail gun, that I think was made of blocks not an entity, and could be at the length of a ship, so i asked a question, will it be able to move around like a massive turret, or would it be fixed in place, to aim it you would have to move the ship into position.

You mean a MAC (which I usually think of as a coilgun)? As I understand, nothing is really set-in-stone until Fr0st finishes Copernicus, but I would guess a turreted MAC wouldn't be out of the question.

It'll have to abide by the law of diminishing returns to keep the scale from getting out of hand, but yeah, it would be cool to see ship-length cannons.

you forgot to add the bridge and living qurters. needed for your ship to not fumble around in space.

You don´t even know how far cloaking will go in the mod, so you basically tell us you will build something in the mod which you don´t even know of that it will be possible.
