Hello guys, I built a ship based off of Battlefront 2's Victory-2 class frigate. it may look small but it has much space on the inside.

[Idea/model] Small Frigate 2012-015

[Idea/model] Small Frigate 2012-016

[Idea/model] Small Frigate 2012-017

[Idea/model] Small Frigate 2012-018

I thought I would share this because it could inspire something and make a new ship type. This ship is a support ship and (will) is outfitted with small blaster turrets that can take out fighters that would damage the capital ship or any ship it is defending. It has weak shield generator that could fend off fighter blasts but not from a large gun of some sorts. It has a small but a strong engine that keeps up the objective's speed so it can fend off attacks. Usually the target in a space battle is to take out their main command ship or whatever the objective is. BUT! This ship will obstruct your objective because this ship can stop fighters from attacking the objective. Which means you have to take out the frigate before attacking the objective. Which would be easy for a strong fleet but hard for a weak one. This type of ship can determine the battle's end. It's weakness is it's engine, when that is out.....there is no keeping up with the objective! Which makes the ship dead in space but can still fight. Feel free it examine the facts and tell me if this is good enough.

This is awesome. I love SWBF2, and it's great to see such an accurate recreation of the ship. These guys are lots of fun if you're in a Y-wing.

Some things can, but mostly they are built of my own accord.

Curious though, the Victory I and II are, at the very least, cruisers and resemble an ISD given a fail makeover. I've always wondered where the SWBFII Victory class frigate came into the picture.

e: Ah, nvm. It's an entirely different class tongue At least according to Wookiepedia

So? I find that when you copy a ship directly, it destroys your creative imagination.

I can see the images now, and it's epicer than I expected. You might consider using MCEdit's enlarge tool to get more floors, though.

I could make a Victory-3 class Frigate (there is no such ship) and it could be based off this design but much more creative and has more abilities.

The Vics here are different from Victory-class Star Destroyers.

Yeah, like I mentioned earlier, these are more equivalent to Nebulons then the Star Destroyer classification of ships.

There are 2 kinds of ship that are called Victory-class. The ones here are small frigates. The others are large capital ships. They are called Victory-class frigates and Victory-class Star Destroyers, respectively. The Star Destroyers are much larger, and look a lot like Imperial-class. These are similar in size to Nebulon-B frigates.

Similar in size as well as function, we've only seen them escorting larger flotillas. They could also be uncanon, seeing as most of the things in SWBFII were done for gameplay purposes. Come to think of it, someone really needs to revamp that game. I mean, ever since when did the Alliance utilize Gunships? I'd give Imperials the Sentinels and Rebels captured Lambdas, then add additional hangars and full interiors to the ships. Well, might as well do it myself.

How is giving the Alliance Lambdas better than giving them LAAT/i's? Sentinels would be fine for the Imps, but giving the Rebels Imp ships would just be weird. Better caps would be nice, though. If each cap was a full battlefield... and there were enough landing craft to make them fun... and they implemented CIS Droch-class boarding craft... that would pwn. Speaking of which, what we need is a SWBF based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Have you played X wing vs Tie Fighter? It seems the Alliance doesn't have any dedicated transports, but there have been no instances of them using larties, either, whereas in the X wing franchise you're typically picked up by Lamdas emblazoned with the Rebel insigia.\

And I believe there is a mod for SWBFII working on bringing CW into it, but it looks pretty rough atm.

Also, there's a game called Eternal Silence which I think has most of what you're talking about in it, but I myself haven't figured out how to connect to any servers.

I have never played X-Wing Vs. TIE Fighter. However, I direct your attention to the RM-09 Alliance Shuttle, which is ugly as hell, but still a better choice than a Lambda.

I've never tried modding SWBFII. Maybe I should.
