You use 3ds Max for the import and then send it through binvox, which has an option to export to schematic. Its easy to do but hard to set up. Plus if you don't have 3ds Max... Your screwed. I'm planning on uploading all the ships once I figure out a scale for each of them though.

You based yourself off the bridge windows, which are considerably larger than the regular windows. The bridge is more likely much more spacious and the windows much larger to offer better vision.

But the bridge windows would be at most 1 story tall. It wouldn't make any sense otherwise. The small windows are like portholes - they can't be more than a few feet tall.

Which is why I made the selection larger than the windows.

The bridge windows are probably larger than one story.

My ladder thing aligns almost exactly with every window it crosses, that's pretty convincing to me.

How do you make a window larger than 1 story? Why would the bridge have a 2+ story ceiling?

Captain's chair on an elevated platform,as well as the equipment and such.

Ohh and it's pretty much been proven that scale was never in thought when these ships were designed, so I'm just looking for a size that isn't too large to use, but also looks nice.

Any model that works with 3ds max.

Also Tiel, what kind of size are you looking for? I can make them any size up to 1000 blocks^3 (cubed)

block, I already posted a model of a frigate. Same thing as the Remembrance, but you'll have to make your fantasy insides yourself.

I have to say, Sins of a Solar Empire has some of the ugliest ships I've seen if that's what they look like.

Still, Danice, could you use your artistic skills and perhaps add some colour?

I'm gonna color one of the Cobalt-class frigates all pretty and jazz up the insides, but just that one, I have more important things to do with my time . I uploaded these as a template for people to use for their own ships. Also I'm going to upload all the other race's ships and hopefully all the capital ships also.
