| Basically I'm ripping the models from the game, voxelizing them, and then making a schematic of the voxel. Pretty simple actually. But since there is such a huge following of this game on this forum I figured someone would be interested. I'm going to post some of the schematics and pictures of the ships as I make them. TEC FIghter- Spoiler:
SubjugatorThe challenge is that these are just the shapes of the ships in stone. Hollowing out the ship, and coloring it is necessary. Also I don't exactly know what size to make them. If some rough block size values are known I could make them that size instead. Cobalt 100 Blocks^3 Arcova 110 Blocks^3 Cielo 230 Blocks^3 Garda 60 Blocks^3 Hishiko 210 Blocks^3 Javelis 100 Blocks^3 Kodiak 275 Blocks^3 Krosov 125 Blocks^3 LEV 90 Blocks^3 Percheron 230 Blocks^3 Protev 175 Blocks^3 UPDATE: Looked at some ingame values, based on the cobalt being 100 blocks and have generated these. Enjoy! PICS!!! - Spoiler:

| MAKE ME A SUBJUGATOR PLEASE It's probably too tall... I'd ask for a Radiance Battleship but that's just too massive. Wanna make me a scaled-down model?

| After looking at a cobalt frigate, I estimate they are about 17-20 stories tall.
TEC would probably build their ships for utility and not style so a story is probably 2 blocks high, just enough for someone to pass through. Add one more block for the floor of each story and you're looking at 51 to 60 blocks high for the stories, possibly up to a dozen more for details.
That cobalt there seems to be of accurate size, almost.

I'm gonna mess around with that a bit. Whats interesting is that since I'm ripping them straight from the mesh they can be any size, only the quality is effected the smaller they are.

WTB Radiance Battleship, as big as you can make it Possibly out of something other than stone too? Iron would be good, if that's actually doable.

That cobalt there seems to be of accurate size, almost. It looks like there are only 2 stories of windows on the front of the ship, and it only has a crew of 150. I think the model might actually be too big, which is surprising. It's the last problem I would expect. The fighter is the same. It seems to be a 1-person craft, so I would guess it's 10-15 blocks long, at most.

If someone estimates the sizes of all the ships, I can resize them (hopefully) and make it more realistic. Also Pat, I uploaded your ship And I can make it out of whatever block I want, just all the same.

But not all stories have windows, especially on a small assault frigate in space which doesnt have very strong shields. You have to estimate the size of stories from the windows then calculate how many stories total for the height. If at least to get the size right. As for the fighter, it's a 1-man craft, but bigger than the fighter planes we have today. They need vectorial thurst, different engines because of the lack of air intake, life support, a stronger hull to be pressurized and airtight, etc... The one in the picture is still probably too large though. Edit: Seems to be a problem with the subjugator spoiler.

Edit:
Seems to be a problem with the subjugator spoiler. The big windows on the front look like they probably take up almost the entire wall, which is what you'd expect in the command center. Assuming each of the front windows is a story tall, the ship should be 15 stories tall, so say 45 blocks, +- 10 blocks. That means the whole ship should be around 80-100 blocks long.

| No problem with the spoiler, I just didn't feel like taking the time to import it into minecraft and screenshot it. But you can download the schematic and try it yourself if you like. Some examples of my scaling attempts TEC Fighter at 15 blocks: - Spoiler:
TEC Fighter at 30 blocks: - Spoiler:
Cobalt at 100 blocks: - Spoiler:

| Actually, I like the cobalt at 100 blocks and the fighter at 30. Its a little blocky, but the shape is still there. | |

That sounds about right for the Cobalt. I think the blockyness is something that will always be a problem for smaller ships. There are a number of excellent mods that allow the creation of 1/4th, 1/8th, or (my favorite) 1/512th blocks, but those probably won't work with MCEdit.

| Here's an evaluation of a Cobalt frigate. Seems it is 29 stories tall, those are the smaller stories, two blocks tall most likely, plus one for the floor. That's three blocks per story, making it sit at around 87-100 blocks in height. | |

You based yourself off the bridge windows, which are considerably larger than the regular windows. The bridge is more likely much more spacious and the windows much larger to offer better vision.

But the bridge windows would be at most 1 story tall. It wouldn't make any sense otherwise. The small windows are like portholes - they can't be more than a few feet tall.

My ladder thing aligns almost exactly with every window it crosses, that's pretty convincing to me.
