AH! I'd like to film before, as soon as I can figure out how to make my stuff into .schematics. I figured out the other day that you just need to disable HUD and move around real slow to simulate the ship is moving. You do, of course, need to delete the ground so there's no points of reference for the viewer's mind. Works like a charm

In MCEdit, I'm trying to select the ship to export as a schematic but the selection box always goes haywire.

But then it looks rather jerky. It can only move one block at a time. Even without a point of reference it's not pleasing to the eye. Unless the ship is absolutely ginormous, it will be noticeable.

I can't post links, but copy paste this behind
Focus on the center of the video. Without the ground or other distractions this seems feasible.

Very Nice. I'm going to work up some sets for a ship bridge, engine room, mess hall, quarters, and hangar bay. They'll be inside a bow of black wool to simulate SPAAAAAAACE.

There is a texturepack called Greenscreen, it changes glowstone into green, and then we can do hyperspace and everything. So, when you want greenscreen of space, you want glowstone.

Actually, couldn't you replace dirt, bedrock, and grass textures with transparency and just film on superflat? Hmm..

yes, I'll do that now
EDIT: this should be what you wanted, some other texture might be weird though, although they're probably fine

its pretty easy to do what i did, just delete bedrock grass and dirt with paint.net or better

You can, but void does wierd stuff to lighting. I will be cameraman, I can experiment and Mack can tell me what he needs.
