| Okay, everyone, so the lore has kind of grown to the point of disorganization with the owls and the ponies and the billions upon billions of factions rabble rabble rabble... Its time for a reboot. A scrub, polish, and reform. This go-around, some factions will be merged, some modified, some races done away with. Our goal here is to sculpt our story in a way that can be somewhat easily understood. After we get the first few steps complete, we'll move on to the more complicated history. Lets begin with a timeline of when factions entered the Galactic community and a simple application. I may have to modify information so that it all meshes. APPLICATION Flag: Faction name: Race*: Government: History leading up to introduction**: Date of introduction (relative to 0 AD): History from introduction to current: DO NOT FILL UNTIL AFTER WE'VE DONE THE FIRST FEW STEPS.General temperament***: * Give a brief description, no more than a paragraph or two. Describe your race as if it were an entirely new species, even if its based on something, not just bird people or anthropomorphic cats. Bonus points if you include an image. Also no ponies. Sorry Ivan. ** Please keep it short, I don't have huge amounts of free time these days. Before anything happens, just your isolated race doing its isolated thing and how it came into the community. If your faction was splintered from another faction, leave this blank. *** Your faction/race's attitude toward other factions/races and how it conducts itself internally. MAP (just point of origin for now, so we can get first interactions and such) This is the first draft. When we have all of the factions, I'll make a final. Several finals, actually, we need to document changes in territory throughout the ages. - Spoiler:
FACTION INFORMATION Batiss Combine - Spoiler:
Faction name: Batiss Combine Flag: Race*: Feles. Large, bipedal mammals with an obviously predatory ancestry. On average, they stand about two meters and weigh in at 90kg. The skeletal structure is relatively flexible, muscles are somewhat denser than those of a human's. Large, photosensitive eyes with a reflective retina; swiveling, cupped, ears mounted on the top of the head; sensitive olfactories. Upright, they walk in a digitigrade fashion, with only their toes making contact with the ground and the bones of the foot and ankle making up the bottom section of the leg. They are almost completely covered in short, fine fur of black, brown, red, or white color, usually patterned. Two thumbs and three fingers to each hand, each tipped in a semi-retractable claw. Their jaw bone is split at the chin, connected with tissues that allow for a very small amount of drift. The molars are relatively flattened to allow for an omnivorous diet, There are three sets of canine teeth, the largest, fang-like middle pair can be up to four centimeters long. Despite their size, feles are typically quite quick and agile. Image: Government: Socialist Republic, Sectional Monarchy. The Noble Clans were left much of their power over their territories when the Combine was formed. Though the Central government has the majority of the power, the Nobles can still control militias, planetary defense, and many laws over their citizens. History leading up to introduction**: Centuries ago, the Feles left their home planet Mundesh and began to spread out into the Bata Viel. Five nations, respectively led by Noble Clans Shi, Karth, Butik, Karesh, and Merek, were at the heart of the colonization race. Space was limited by the short-range drives used in the early part of the race. The nations warred over planets, wishing to gain the sparse orbs among the dust and nebulae of the Viel. Their wars eventually led back to the homeworld. Nationalistic terrorism groups grew into organized militias, which threatened the global population. The nations that didn't participate banded together to either subdue the rampant nationalism or force the main spacefaring factions off of Mundesh. When the the Slip-Merge FTL drive was developed, the Feles exploded outward, colonizing systems well beyond their previous reach. This relieved the pressure caused by the sparsity of the inner worlds. Though disputes between nations were still common, they took place well away from the motherplanet. When the Feles came into contact with the Galactic Community, they already had quite an impressive foothold of power because of the wars between factions and the size of their territory. This power, however, was held between six factions: the five Noble Clans and the newer Mundesh Conglomerate. As they became more involved in galactic relations, the need to unite became more evident. The Batiss Combine was formed, though the Combine would be divided into provinces and the Noble Clans would retain much of their power. Date of introduction (relative to 0 AD): 2200 AD General temperament***: The Feles and Batiss Combine are generally reclusive. The Combine will choose defense over offense in most situations, but will take an offensive position if they or their allies are directly threatened. A lone feles will most likely choose to quietly observe rather than become involved. Honor and mental and physical prowess are traditionally held in high regard. Many feles are trained in martial arts and combat from the time they are young, especially if they are born into a clan associated with warriors. The Batiss Combine is separated into several parts, the Center and the Noble Clans. Noble Clans sometimes war over territory and past vendettas, using their substantial militias.

| So you didn’t follow my advice about your race ... oh well too bad. I thought that having a race of pirate cats would be much funnier and game changing, like contrary to other factions protecting from pirates this one promoting piracy, just to stay unique, otherwise they all start to feel too generic. Also the flag needs a lot of work, simplify it, don’t use clashing colors and make it memorable. Its deep night and I should prob go sleep now so you will wait with my faction application until tomorrow, in fact you already have it in the original (well attempt No100 or something) thread.
Also try not to burden it with too many factions, it will be physically impossible to maintain more than six or around that.

Faction name: Alteras Amacus Race*: Humans, pale white epidermis, minimal hair, bipedal with codependent sight involving 2 eyes, hair is grayscale, eye color in the infrared spectrum, 5-digit hands and feet, procreation is heterosexual, males and females present, average height of 6' 7", average weight of 200lb, average lifespan of 140 years. Due to exposure to various spatial phenomena, they require up to 30% less radiation shielding among various other slight abnormalities. Government: Dictatorship History leading up to introduction**: Left Earth in 22nd Century/WW III/IV with basic space flight technology, flew to and colonized areas in Eridanus. They arrived in the 25th Century, and stayed there for 400 years developing various technologies which were best described as crude versions of what is currently available. Among their achievements was a space station the size and shape of a small moon and slipspace drives which would remain mostly unchanged throughout the ages of their time and the times of their descendants. They would later abandon the mostly finished station, for majorly unknown reasons. Date of introduction (relative to 0 AD): 30th Century History from introduction to current: DO NOT FILL UNTIL AFTER WE'VE DONE THE FIRST FEW STEPS. General temperament***: Outwards: -General distrust of others -Highly defensive of borders -Members rarely leave due to being deeply patriotic Inwards: -Essentially super communism

| Flag: Faction name: The Orion Confederation Race*: Humans, mainly. There is a small amount of avians, and even fewer equines. No owls whatsoever. The Humans have a lifespan of about 120 years. This particular group also has less body hair than Earth humans, but better eyesight and hearing. Average weight is 150 pounds. Government: Representative democracy with modifications. The Chancellor is the end all be all to decisions, no matter what. Other than that, the Senate runs daily affairs. History leading up to introduction**: The Orion Confederation was formed 300 years ago, after a devastating war tore Cyrania III apart. They became a space-faring civilization shortly after that. When first contact was made, research boosted by 300% for warships and space weapons. However, they did not want war. They made introductions. It turned our that the race was friendly. Date of introduction (relative to 0 AD): 31st Century History from introduction to current: DO NOT FILL UNTIL AFTER WE'VE DONE THE FIRST FEW STEPS. General temperament***: Slightly xenophobic to other nations. Highly protective of the Cyrania System. The are, however, civil to other nations. Toward its citizens it gives them many rights, but the Confederation keeps a large standing military force and police forces. | |

| Faction name: Taln Protectorate Flag: - Spoiler:
Pre-Reform (Sovereignty) Post-Reform (Protectorate)
Race*: Tiens were, like most races in the former Cerean Empire, evolved from avians as the planets in their respective star systems stumped the evolutionary growth of conventional mammals. Those that didn't go extinct from natural causes were hunted down either for sport or food by the various burgeoning 'bird' races. But, as the discovery of ancient spacefarer tech on the Tien homeworld spurred intergalactic exploration and colonization, members of the species sent to other worlds in the star system adapted to new environments. These natural alterations ranged from traits like darkened plumage to spiked beaks. When thousands of Tiens fled their home system from humanoid invaders in an event known as the Great Migration, the genes promoting the adoption of a bipedal stature rose to prominence in the zero g environment of escaping ships. The species is defined by a distinctive 'crest' upon the head that raises and lowers based on mood, and possesses a coat of feathers. It is often maintained by individuals for the sake of aesthetics, but is purely vestigial in nature. The exception is the Tien 'wing', which does not actually function as a method of inducing lift, but the appendages contained therein rely on the protection of downing against friction and the like to continue functioning. Image: Government: Timocratic Oligarchy. The Directorate is a ruling convention of trustees elected via direct democracy from each planet in the Protectorate's sphere of influence. Every citizen is eligible for appointment; previous station is not taken into consideration. They are organized into panels overseeing various initiatives, such as defense, and are further supervised by intendants from each of the core worlds. History leading up to introduction**: A few millenia ago, the Tiens fled from their home solar system of Phalanx from human prospectors to the Entima Cluster, where they established the Cerean Empire. However, after conquering and assimilating the region's native residents (coincidentally also avians), the Empire soon fell under attack by a feline race known as not-feles-unless-cats-says-ok. In a conflict spanning decades, the Tien people and their allies were slaughtered wholesale by the aggressors, until events within the not-feles-unless-cats-says-ok's society began to tear it apart and grind the invasion to a halt. Cerea soon experienced a massive military buildup after taking a breath and learning of humans rapidly advancing on its borders. The Tiens fended off numerous attacks from both of their enemies before calling for peace, with disastrous results that led into Guardian Wars - a conflict lasting close to a millennium between the three galactic powers. Towards its closure, revolutionaries within the Cerean state ceased the throne, fracturing the Empire in two. Amidst the chaos, a civilian attache to a military expeditionary force sped off into dark space, traveling through it for approximately a decade before finally discovering a new galaxy to call their own. But they were not alone. The Taln Sovereignty was to forge many alliances, make several enemies, and sell many ships via their Taln Shipyards in the coming years of acquainting itself with the Galactic Community before eventually re-organizing into the Protectorate as we know it today following the Third Galactic War. Date of introduction (relative to 0 AD): Waluigi? Depends which phase...Cerea would be like 9001 BC History from introduction to current: I'm a rebel. I'd just like to point out that initially it's the Sovereignty, then we switch off to Protectorate. More or less like how your Conglomerate became a Combine. General temperament***: Tiens are reserved, though intensely patriotic and devoted to whatever cause they choose to align themselves with. This is reflected in their society at large, with isolation being a primary goal and treason being equatable to mass murder in terms of consequences. They are, however, very military minded by virtue of their roots, and with combat training being part of the public education system's curriculum it should come as no surprise that many elect to enlist in the Reserves at the very least. Map on hold until people get situated.

Faction name: Strigiforme Empire Race: Owls, with an extremely low number of humans and other races in large cities on developed worlds Government: Representative Empire. The Council is chosen by the Trials for a specific area, and the Leader is chosen from the entire populace by the Trials. History: Stranded with large industrial infrastructure, they expanded quickly, and were one of, if not the, first to explore the cosmos at large in the galaxy. They once controlled a large portion of the galaxy, but their empire shrank after numerous Pyrrhic victories against surging empires. These regions have slightly higher Strigiforme inhabitation than others. Map: - Spoiler:
Date of Introduction: 8500 BC Introduction to current: N/A General temperament: Strictly marshaled people, with closely guarded emotions. While not officially xenophobic, they are simply so used to only Strigiforme people they hardly know what to do about others. That said, they enjoy guiding tourists around, especially given many tourist's reactions to Strigiforme customs.

| Faction name: New Skytherian Cybernetic Duality (NSCD) Faction flag: - Spoiler:
Race: Skytherians: A race of bipedal reptiles, well known for their psychic capabilities. While most Skytherians only possess low level telepathy, there are rare instances of individuals wielding incredible psychos powers, these individuals are known as Psyches. It is unknown exactly where the originated from. Image (WIP): - Spoiler:
Cybernetics: Sentient machines of various shapes and size, the most common being the type V worker rig, which stands at a similar height to a human. The majority of the smaller units have a distinctive trapezoidal head shape. Notable types include the Type V worked, MK VII engineer, MK III soldier and MK IV Lamentor Image (Omega, leader of the NSCD): - Spoiler:
Government: Cybernetics: Run by the high command, which branches off into different sector governments responsible for the operation of the various sectors of ARK-1 (yes, I'm still using this). Law enforcement, rather than each sector running its own enforcement, is run by a central organisation, responsible with dealing with Maverick units. Skytherians: A group of high power individuals forms a high council, with each member running various aspects of the government. One member sits on the Cybernetics high command and handles relations between the two planets. History leading up to introduction (might be editied): The Cybernetics originated as a control mechanism for the Goliath artificial planet of ARK-1, the origins of which are not fully known. The central core of ARK-1 became self aware by pure accident. The core, known as PRIME-1 began building other sentient systems, known as the origin series. Among the origin series was a unit known as Phi, who was given a slightly different AI to his brothers, and so was capable of wider thought. PRIME-1 thought of Phi as a failure, and planned to dispose of him, but the attempt failed, and resulted in Phi discovering PRIME-1's true purpose. Phi led a rebellion against PRIME-1, aided by his brothers Omega, Theta and Delta, which resulted in PRIME-1 being disconnected from the planets core, and Phi taking his place. Phi renamed himself Alpha, and assumed control of the planet, creating countless, less powerful but sentient AIs to be given to the then lifeless worker machines, establishing the Cybernetic side of the NSCD. As ARK-1 was already very technologically advanced, it was not long until members of the Cybernetics were exploring space, and one such exploration resulted in the discovery of the Skytherians. One individual Skytherians was discovered in a capsule in some alien ruins, presumable of an ancient empire of Skytherians. Said individual was still alive, and had been in stasis. Once the Cybernetics realised the immense power wielded by the individual, named Subject Zero by the machines, they began decoding its DNA in an attempt to re-establish them as a species. The attempt was successful, and resulted in a race of Skytherians living on the planet CRH-12 (nicknamed Skytheria) next to ARK-1. Date of introduction: Cybernetics: 10th Skytherians: 16th General temperament: The NSCD is rather unafraid of other nations, and usually rather friendly, however any nation attempting to invade the NSCD will be faced with highly effective mechanical troops, Skytherian Psyches, a fierce navy with the Archetype as its flagship, and the central defences of ARK-1. The Cybernetics of ARK-1 are very protective of Skytheria, to the point it is said they will respond with a fiercer defence to an attack on Skytheria than an attack on ARK-1

Feet are very similar to human feet. Government: totalitarian dictatorship. History leading up to introduction**: Do you considered completely obliterating it's parent faction 'splintered'? Date of introduction (relative to 0 CE): 2836 CE History from introduction to current: DO NOT FILL UNTIL AFTER WE'VE DONE THE FIRST FEW STEPS. General temperament***: Treats the smaller empires as playthings, while the larger empires are a mere test of patience. In battle they tend to be very strategic, striking the weak spots in their enemy MAP, Upper right hand corner. - Spoiler:

| I am willing to write up the timeline of galactic events and such, including previous RP's (to an extent) for the official lore. Flag: Faction name: The NeoRoman Dominion Race: Primarily human, contains decent numbers of all species. Government: Hierarchy. Hierarch has complete power over all governmental tasks. Hierarch is chosen from the population every 100 years; selection is conducted via a highly secretive governmental group. The 5 primary councils serve under him, who have great power over their selected division and limited power over others, and are highly cooperative. These are: Security, Research, Economic, Relation, and Civil. This high division forms Command, which primarily deals in empire-wide affairs. Systems are sometimes managed individually, but generally systems and planets are free to manage their own systems through local governments. These local governments are primarily merit based. History leading up to introduction: Civil war; Previous faction was introduced to community before being destroyed. Date of introduction: 2350 C.E General temperament: NeoRome is generally cooperative and friendly with other races, but only if they prove to be beneficial to the galactic community. Actions will be taken against empires that threaten the sector's stability. Research secrets are always closely guarded to large extents; any and all measures will be taken to protect technology from proliferating. Location- North side of galaxy, large area including and immediately surrounding the blue star field on the second arm.

| Flag: (Will be changed, maybe) Faction name: The Zuguthian Empire Race: Mainly humans, a bipedal race, usually between 170 and 200 CM tall, whose strengths include intelligence, endurance, and rapid recovery from damage, and whose flaws include a weak body structure and generally agressive and paranoid mentality. There are, however several other races within the empire as well. Government: Social Democratic Empire, under the rule of emperor George Tequino. History leading up to introduction: The Zuguthian Empire was created short after the fall of the Technotronic Dictatorship. Right before Technoma was lost in a trans-dimentional unstable wormhole, the more important members of society were moved to Zuguth, just in case something bad was about to happen. The leader of Zuguth, in a lack of better words, was chosen to be the emperor of the new empire. The CEOs of the 3 most influential companies and the 2 most influential politicians were chosen as the High Council. Almost immediately after the foundation of the Zuguthian Empire, wormholes were banned outside test areas and all Technotronic stores were either sold or used as scrap metal for rebuilding the military. Mining stations were also founded at the rather recently dead, former Technotronic world of Yun. Date of introduction (relative to 0 AD): 2030 as Technotronic Industries. (No idea for the Empire, but pretty much whatever year the RP is in) General temperament: The Zuguthian Empire is generally friendly to other factions, and would never go to war without a very good reason, due to the still weak military forces. Location: South of the center of the center of the galaxy, right outside the brightest part. | |

Faction name:Dominion of An'Tokor Race*:Tall, slender bipedal creatures, similar in appearance to the elves of human mythology. An'Tokor invariably have smooth, pale skin, which shimmers with bright light, and vivid white eyes which shine with blinding intensity. They also have pointed, elongated ears, around 5 inches in lenth. Government: The An'tokor are ruled solely by Supreme empress D'laria. History leading up to introduction**: The An'tokor were created by the An'fali in their own image as a slave race; to rule the lost galaxy of Vancien in their stead. The An'fali disappeared shortly after this event, and their fate is unknown. The An'tokor ruled the entire of Vancien for thousands of millennia, though much of what happened in this period was lost in the first empires destruction. Around [The year of Ark 2: The conspiracy], the supermassive black hole at the centre of Vancien exploded violently, instantaneously destroying much of the An'tokors vast empire. Sensing the An'tokors weakness, the long enslaved race of Val'ia rebelled against their masters; ensnaring what was left of the empire in a bloody civil war, which raged for almost a hundred years. This was to culminate in the battle of High Tokor, in which the remainder of the An'tokor military was destroyed, and the An'tokor were forced to gather the few ships they had left, freighters and passenger ships that they were; and fly into the wormhole left by Vanceins black hole, unsure of where it would take them. Unexpectedly the ruined fleet was spat out at the fringe of the unexplored Milky way galaxy, where they settled on a barely habitable planet smothered in radioactive ruins of a long lost empire. Date of introduction (relative to 0 AD): uhh... umm... around the time of Ark 2: The conspiracy. History from introduction to current: DO NOT FILL UNTIL AFTER WE'VE DONE THE FIRST FEW STEPS. General temperament***: Utterly insane and unpredictable, extremely violent; the An'tokor are as likely to shower you with gifts as they are to slaughter you and feed of your remains. This mentality extends to all races. Location- Somewhere around the edge of the galaxy.

| Name: United Terran Alliance Race: Terrans, no description required. Location: Sol , Proxima cluster, First Quadrant, Milky Way. Government: Presidental Federation. First outside contact: 2263 - The beginning of the UTA:
Extracted from Terran History for Non-Terrans- Early Terran History:
Since ancient times Humans didn't get along well with each other. Unlike other species terrans were always divided among themselves in autonomic social structures called countries. Each country was independent from other countries and dictated its own internal policy, social structure and culture, turning the human race into one of the most diverse in the galaxy. That is why even to this day many Xenologists don't understand how a human alliance was possible.
- Disarm War:
In 2148 (Terran Calendar) began the "Disarm War" , a continuation to the cold war (See Terran cold war) that would form the basis of the unification war. This war began after the discovery of a method to speed up the decay of radioactive materials from the distance by cross-irradiating it. As a result began a shadow war among the nations with each nation trying to disarm their opponent from nuclear warheads while keeping its own warheads safe, thus gaining tactical advantage.
- The Unification War:
In 2153 a new charismatic leader rises on the terran political map, Ian Velenberg. Velenberg is aware of the new political map formed by the disarm war. Using his charisma and political knowledge Velenberg convinces the leaders of major western nations (Including USA, UK, Germany) (See cold war nation division) to form an alliance in the face of a fake attack from the eastern block. After the appearance of rumors about the impending alliance, many eastern countries (Including Russia, china, Iran, North Korea, Colombia) unite together to protect themselves against the western alliance. The declaration of the eastern alliance began to spread panic among the remaining nations. All the countries that to this point remained neutral began to quickly pick sides and so from mere rumors Velenberg managed to unite half of the terran population without a single fight.
After a year filled with tension in 2154 the unification war begins. During the next four years the Terrans fight a bloody war among themselves. In 2158 the war ends with a victory of the western block and Velenberg unites the western and eastern blocks and declares "world peace" (See world peace in terran mythology). later that year Velenberg declares the creation of the United Terran Alliance or the UTA. Not everyone was ready to accept the rule of the UTA and so the underground liberation front was formed.
- The Loss of Earth:
During the following years after the unification war the side effects of the irradiators used to accelerate the uranium decay began to appear. Radiation leaks from underground bunkers and even uranium deposits that were effected by mistake during the cross irradiation process. The terrans struggled to maintain the radiation levels above ground low and new solution was required. During the following 50 years humans develop the UTA space program to teraform the nearby habitable planet Mars and transferring population over to this planet, making it the new terran capital. By 2215 there were no human settlements left on Earth. Radiation levels on the planet to this day exceed normal terran radiation levels. The planet is still habitable though long stays on it will shorten an individual's lifespan and may cause genetic mutations. Terrans still put high priority on reducing the radiation levels on the planet and one day returning to it's surface.
- UTN and NeoRome:
In 2253 the United Terran Navy or the UTN is formed following the Sirius rebellion. After the unification war in 2154 some remnants of the Liberation Front gathered a small fleet at the colony of Sirius and launched a surprise attack on the Terran Union. While being able to defeat the rebel force near the Sol jump node the Terran Union almost suffered a crushing defeat. As a result the first lines of specialized battleships were created and the UTN was formed. for 4 years the UTN fights a blood guerrilla war against the rebels until the Sirius system was discovered in 2257. The UTN destroyed the rebel elements and established Sirius as a Colony under the control of the Terran Union. The remaining members of the liberation front will later establish a new colony further away from Earth called NeoRome [certification needed, are you there Fen ?] .
Political position: Relations with other Terran factions is divided into two parts: Among themselves the Terran factions try to achieve dominance culturally and social-economically, trying to persuade citizens to move to their country, the UTA is no exception. However Terran factions do not like when other Terran factions are attacked and will commonly form temporary alliances to ensure mutual security. Terrans have chilled relations with Stingiforme after the Occupation by the Stingiforme forces during the first encounter with them. The UTA prefers to maintain internal security over participation in various outside encounters, however the UTA responds aggressively to any outside threats or interventions.

Faction name: Moquorian Empire Races: Mogrians
Bipedal mammals, up to 1.5 meters tall, resemble anthropomorphic versions of terran wildlife due to origin in Strigiforme genetic manipulation on another universe's version of earth. Their physical strenght tends to be slightly below that of a Human, but they have much faster reactions.
Equorians
Equorians are quadrupedal, equine mammals, relying on their psionic abilities to interact with their environment. Their physical strenght is above average, as is agility, however, their ability to operate machines is limited except for the most psionically capable third.
Government: Federal Republic History leading up to introduction: The Mogrians originated from an alternate universe where they lived isolated until the year 2031 AD of this universe's earth. However, then their homeworld was invaded by the Strigiforme. Being technologically inferior and weakened froma recent global war, the then-resident population consisting of various races didn't stand a chance. Later, Strigiforme experiments on local wildlife resulted in the creation of a new species, the Morians. Due to their similarity to Animals, many members of other species failed to accept their sentience and they quickly sunk into the lower class, many turning criminal due to having no other way of getting the money for their life. The only somewhat-successful Mogrians were those that got a place in the military, altough rising in ranks was not an option for non-Owls. Soon, Mogrian resistance groups emerged and they experimented with Strigiforme dimensional technology, accidentally ending up teleporting their entire solar system into this universe. Due to the shift in dimensions, the Strigiforme were no longer able to get support from their other systems, as at that time the interdimensional Empire of the Strigiforme had already broken down, eventually resulting in them being overthrown by Mogrian rebels. Afterwards, Mogrians turned into the dominant species on their planet and renamed it 'Mogria'. They also began using leftover Strigiforme tech in order to develop their own FTL-engines as well as other technology vital for interstellar travel. They set their first interstellar jouney towards the planet of the Equorians, Equira, which happened to be both nearby and also had high psionic signature readings, attracting the Mogrians, whose technology was focused towards psionics. At that time, the Equorians had not yet developed space-flight, but nevertheless deided to join the Mogrian government, forming the Moquorian Empire which soon after made contact with other space-faring factions of this universe.
Date of Introduction: 2303AD; Year 0 in their own calendar (they measure from their first successful FTL drive activation)

And how would you tie it to the RP-story without the ponies vs owls thing? Make it Mogrians vs Owls?
