I had an idea: Futurecraft RTS
Not a minecraft/Futurecraft mod, but a game featuring the sentient beings on this forum, plus their enemies.

This means....
Cuuytl Vyr(Strigiformes) vs Triiduy
Prototype vs Those weird robot things
Cereans vs Euraylus
Orgonari vs 'Makesh
Anyone vs anyone

Here is a promo thingy.

"On a large valley in a distant dimension, two glowing red portals appear. Out of one, a gargantuan, delta shaped craft appears, floating around and deploying owl soldiers brought from a nearby dimension. Out of the other, a huge, worn looking hovercraft emerges. The delta shaped craft has a strange, red insignia. The other is painted green and blue, the colors of the Triiduy. They both set down ground bases, and deploy squads of owl soldiers, excavating tons of resources for the war effort. Soon, they encounter, and begin fighting. Soon, the red insigniad craft attacks the base of the Triiduy, obliterating it completely. It then deploys turrets, and waits for the enemy craft to return"

What do you think? Post group and enemy(s). Some technology, and a small description of a battle would be much appreciated. If its OP, I will.... Something horrible....

Four angular, ebony craft menacingly cast their shadows on the lush foliage of a prospering terran world, their contrails all but invisible as they swoop through the atmosphere. Throngs of Cerean infantry vehicles emerge from each ship once they touch down; all but one dropship leaves the landing zone as a forward operating base is set up within the vast cargo hold of the vessel. Soldiers are accounted for, mecha are are cataloged. With this, the Tiens deploy the vast army on the ground to capture key cities from the enemy - a commercial empire calling itself the Euraylus.

The campaign stretches for many months...the Cereans being unable to secure a decisive victory without the forces still in orbit - entangled with a Eurlaylian fleet division. Finally, the commanders of the dwindling ground force devise an all-out offensive on the capitol utilizing the majestic Arktian walkers; walking capitol ships in their own right. Slowly but surely the Tien soldiers attain victory, but not without losses against the elite guardsmen of Euraylus. Distraught over the loss of the seat of power, cells of enemy soldiers concede to task forces in their regions...and are gunned down in droves by spiteful Cerean infantrymen. The planet is secured.

A large gray and yellow craft warps in above a world covered in ice and snow. Large hangar doors opened on the ship, from under large landing craft with shuttle escorts made their way to the surface. Upon entering the atmosphere, large bolts of blue plasma shot and mostly missed the craft, hitting one shuttle on it's descent, it was apparent they would not be missed. The shuttles touch down and small strike squads unload as well as drones detach from the sides and begin digging trenches. From the landing craft spew smaller craft carrying turrets, temporary bases, a permanent base, and multiple heavy armor vehicles. The smaller craft recede back to the large craft after deploying their loads to fetch additional tanks as well as some small factories for on-site production. Crews in the bases begin work on setup of equipment while the bots return to the shuttles which return to the Campaign-Class Cruiser and the strike squads begin to fill in the trenches while some take positions in the tanks. For months the Orgonati Marines with support from the navy and army would fight a bloody battle for control of the planet against their rival, the 'Makesh.

Four flashes in orbit announce the arrival of an enormous axehead-shaped craft and its three escorts, gleaming a dull grey, piped with red and gold markings. The Terra-class world below thrived with the booming power of fusion-driven industry, its jungles lush and verdant, feeding the planet's atmosphere, while massive elevators borne upon meters-thick cables ascended out of and descended into the atmosphere, bearing raw materials down and finished goods up. Moments after their arrival, the largest ship's shields flared golden as the world's defenses latched onto it, battering the ship with firepower enough to shatter any lesser ship in moments. But this ship's shields held, and as the hyper-addled crewmen regained their senses, the ship's own batteries began to respond. Eye-tearingly bright bolts of plasma screamed planetward at just under the speed of light, their magnetic bottles maintaining them just long enough for them to liberate nearly all of their energy against the very planetary defense centers that sought to kill them.

"Drop in five." came the voice over Lieutenant Ariyannae Wayfarer's helmet com, as she checked the power on her pulse rifle's fusion cell, flipping a switch to bring the weapon's incredibly compact, incredibly powerful grav coils to life. "Nike copies; Second Platoon copies, Command." she replied, her cool, frayed soprano carrying back to the CIC over the wireless net. Thirty-seven lights blinked on her helmet's display, proving what she had said to be true.

She turned to her Marines. "Listen up, ladies and gents! As you all know, we are dropping onto Telekonos today. The lizard-boys count this world as one of their greatest achievements; they hold this place in the same regard we hold Katia, and as such have a very heavy defensive fleet stationed here. I don't think they could ever have imagined that something like the Vengeance would show up on their doorstep, however." she added with a small, nasty grin, and her Marines chuckled back at her, many heads nodding in grinning agreement.

"Seems the squids have done something right for once. But because it's so valuable to them, the brass, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that we get to go take their toy away from them by force, rather than using the Vengeance's main gun to shatter the planet. Seeing it destroyed would be one thing, a demonstration of our power - but they don't want to do that, not yet. We want to make them fail. As you all know, from what we've been able to gather, they're a warlike race, even more so than we are. They take honor very, very seriously - and the failure to hold such a place as this will cast a stain on the entire species, for there are, given this large a defensive fleet, members of every bloodline here." Ari said, and paused.

"And we're going to smash it all." she finished, and her Marines cheered, the bitter memories of the death of Terra still fresh on their minds. "Lock and load people. We're dropping in sixty seconds." she said, and turned towards her pod, before stopping and turning back to her Marines. She raised her head high, rage smoldering in her gray-blue eyes. "FOR TERRA!" she shouted, and the entire drop bay, with the entirety of the Third Battalion present, roared it back at her.

With that, a mass scramble for the drop pods occurred, Marines strapping themselves into their pods and securing their equipment, as Navy techs secured the hatches, checking seals, enabling the pods' retrothrusters and guidance systems. Ariyannae strapped herself in, and prepared herself for the violent kick of ejection. This was her fifty-first drop, and her fifth as an officer. She would, as the leader, land first.

The seconds ticked by endlessly, and Ari began to think, as usual, that they would never boot her out - and suddenly, they did. The extreme forces she felt shoving her down had become routine, the same as the signals her body was sending her that something was seriously wrong had done. Her first drops had left her shaky and frightened on landing, and she'd nearly become claustrophobic for it, especially the one time that her assault transport had taken a hit in the drop control room, leaving her stranded in her pod for hours before someone had been able to drop them.

Today, however, she sailed smoothly out of the launch tube, and streaked for the planet below, where the rest of the 101st Division was waiting for her. She reached up, snaking her hand through the narrow gap between her body and the pod's skin, popping her helmet's seal to brush her fingers against her sister's cross. Sarah had been in Los Angeles when Terra had been wiped.

Clenching her teeth, Ari resealed her helmet and moved her hand back down, the pod hitting atmosphere at that moment, and it started to buck and flip until the drogue chute finally managed to right it. Four minutes later, the main chute deployed, jerking her with painful force, her airspeed slowing to less than two hundred miles an hour in mere seconds. As her altitude hit ten thousand feet, the pod's thrusters came to life and the repulsor coils gradually slowed her. The pod spat out an enormous amount of chaff and long-lived flares to confuse enemy systems and defenses, and when she hit one thousand feet, the pod broke apart.

She fell through the air, her suit's powerful thrusters slowing her. When she hit the ground, the gel layer overcharged and stiffened, absorbing most of the impact's force, even as the ground beneath her cracked. She stood, a finger-twitch causing the suit's rack to send her pulse rifle to her waiting digits, and she raised it, taking stock of her surroundings. Within minutes, her platoon had landed in various positions nearby, and her rally signal brought them bounding to her at nearly a hundred kilometers an hour, with the assistance of their suit jets to extend their strides.

They were surrounded by a thousand screaming Draconians, all damned determined to murder the invaders and stick their heads on pikes. Before the hour was out, not a single one of them remained, and the small city that the Second Platoon had landed in was a smoking crater, parts of it glassy and blackened, cracked under the force of nuclear hand grenades and plasma weaponry.

The cleansing of Telekonos had only just begun, and the humans of the Ascendancy burned their enemies with murderous glee.

Races: Feles, Human

Tech: Advanced magnetic field distortion technology (Allows for more efficient micro fusion reactors, somewhat better magnetic accelerator weaponry, point shield dispersion, and slightly enhanced stealth.

Enemies: None as of now.

Allies: The TSRFM usually maintains friendly relations with most other factions, though no official alliances have been made.

Okay. Teh battle scene.

This takes place on a planet on the outskirts of TSRFM controlled space.
Dark stone walkways and internal wall structure of the Barik clan's planetary keep were exposed as coagulated plasma rained from parting clouds. Ships of an unknown enemy descended, throwing molten metal and ionized gasses toward their various targets. No doubt a foreign nation looking to take advantage of the seemingly undefended planet and mine its rich soil. Government buildings, drydocks, and civilian establishments were all destroyed or severely damaged. The fleet skimmed over decimated terrain, unleashing battalions of marines to destroy all that were left after the bombardment.

High in orbit, stealthed weapon platforms warmed and a hidden orbital shipyard released a fleet of frigates and destroyers. Wait for the attackers to enter the gravity well, then unleash hell. That was what the crews were trained to do in a situation such as this, where you were vastly outnumbered and outgunned. Guerrilla warfare.
Deep below the planet's surface, a beast stirred the likes of which these people haven't seen. A company of highly trained mech pilots surging toward the surface.

When the last of the attacking ships deposited their troops onto the planets surface, they began to rise. A hypersonic streak of molten tungsten steel struck the leading craft's bow, penetrating weakened shields and thick armor, continuing straight through. The craft belched vaporized metal as the accelerator round struck the scarred surface of the planet. It nosed downward. Orbital Ion cannons, plasma launchers, and magnetic accelerators turned their full attention toward the helpless fleet, ripping it apart ship by ship. Heavily armed 'mechs emerged from high-speed elevators, their pilots focused on terminating the remaining attack force. The marines had no means of escape.

Not an RP, merely a listing of those that would play this RTS and a brief scene from those individuals to gather a description of gameplay, then.

You should put it in Lambda. Lambda needs some life. I mean, the ion storm or whatever hasn't even started and yet it almost seems like it's dying. Kind of depressing. I like that RP. Don't let it die. DON'T LET IT DIE, FENWAY!

On a vast area of the planet Zuguth, a medium-small military base is having a very boring and relaxed day, as usual. The sun shines over the rocky desert-ish area, mountains all around a round area of flatter land.
Suddenly a large mining ship appears from the sky, landing not far away. The ship seems to be from the Nüdan cluster, not far away from Zuguth.
Several hatches under the ship are opened, releasing several large mining mechs, upgraded with powerful weapons and explosives.
Several other mining vehicles are released as well, all modified to work as machines of battle.

The soldiers at the base sends a message to the mining ship, asking what is going on. They get for answer that the miners from the Nüdan cluster are tired of being treated like robots and are now fighting back.
The soldiers call for reinforcements and rushes towards mechs, tanks, exo-suits etc., preparing for a fight.

The miners seem to be the strongest, having larger mechs and ground vehicles, and having powerful mining lasers, drills and plasma cutters at their disposal. After a while, the reinforcements arrive; some stronger mechs and even some low altitude fighters. They help turning the battle, but then the large mining ships enters the battle as well, having even more powerful mining lasers, tractor beams and even some explosives.



..Something like that?

As a rule of thumb, to use the human expression, RTSs don't usually have much dialogue.

On the surface of CRH-7 latitude 78.356 longitude 94.652, far from any inhabited outposts, a small ball of glowing violet light appears out of thin air, the ball begins to grow steadily, until it has a radius of roughly three meters.

Miles away, one of e NSCF (New sentient cybernetic democracy) scanners begins to bleep loudly.

Alarms go off across the entire system, code red, code red.

Frestorian activity suspected on CRH-7.

In ARK-1 miles below the surface, Prototyp sits in the central room of the artificial planet, standing on the north pole of the room.

A messenger enters the room.

"sir, council is ordering execution of operation 115"

"underway"


At the south end of ARK-1, A Tormento class begins the loading procedure, taking on board thousands of combat troops.


This will be the first time, the former cybernetic collective has deployed self sentient machines into battle.

OOC: just setting mine up, and just to clear things up my enemies (in the RP) are mechanical beings known as Frestorians, which exist in an alternate universe and seek to conquer ours. I will eventually come to explain the change in my characters position in the grounded RP
