New Server Soon?

Soon, I will have a server and I may make a section to build futurecraft, it will be half survival half creative(for futurecraft)
Any questions/advice/ideas are welcome, as it will have to have a survival to creative and creative to survival gates, using command blocks, and I will have plugins that will make this needed to be changed... The plugins that I WILL have are dynmap, and maybes: residence, iconomy, others that I have listed that are at my dads, so sunday this may be updated.

People who have not paid for Minecraft.
You can make it open for them by putting "online-mode" to "false" in the server settings.

Perhaps not. As it is, though, I have very little respect for people who pirate videogames.

No cracked clients no sorry I did not know that term, I had to earn every penny, to buy minecraft, and any other game I have(Except christmas/b-day, but I did buy mw3 and preorder halo WITH only my money)

Hey taco, I have a community server that is running survival/creative already. You don't need to spend money on another one.

I have seen....wait omg maybe since we have 2 servers we could see if the modders can connect them! In other words, you just want to own a server for the sake of owning a server. How about you just open one for your friends then? It'll probably save you $10 per month and then no one has to worry about losing their stuff when it goes down (again)?

If it really means THAT much to you I can make a world for your friends and give you admin privileges on it, but my server's payed until July already (because I got tired of people not putting servers up when they said they would, right after you disappeared) and it's more than sufficient for this community.

Well ok, the reason I "disappeared" is due to sports, family, and personal reasons....Also though I think this would still benefit us, because we could get the modders to try to connect them as the mod will.

I'm gonna stick with avengers server until I have a good reason not to.

You mean you consider your family more important than a server you're running? Clearly you don't have what it takes to be a proper admin.

Look, bob, the point is that we already HAVE a good server and you'd be better off to save your money, and the code monkey who's doing servers at the moment (eazymc) can do server-server communication testing on any two machines. He also has a job, so I'm not expecting anything functional any time soon.

Also, I'm a university student involved in 3 sports and volunteering. I still find time to keep everything running. What's your excuse?

Already said, and why has this begun into you fighting about who has the futurecraft server I do not care honestly who cause I will have a futurecraft server or I will just have a survival server so why are you arguing really your in college and your acting like a 7 year old.

I paid a LOT of money for a server for this community. Out of my own pocket. So I don't want that going to waste just because you FEEL LIKE owning a server. You want it? Click my donate link and put in $400, I'll send you the world.

i don`t "feel" like owning a server I owned the last one too, I still would have the server, because I have a "life" besides futurecraft and I had "alot" of stuff going on til now.

Back when I hosted a server, albeit not to the expense Avenger has, Danice also had one for testing purposes. I was pretty jealous at first because it seemed people frequented his more, but it worked out rather nicely in that when one was down, people could join the other. We did at one point discuss linking the servers, but that never came to fruition as the mod required Spoutcraft to function to any great degree of effectiveness.


Taco, Avenger's just affronted because he's spent a lot of money on the server we have. If you do end up renting one, it'd probably be for the best to make it 'unique', ala survival instead of shipbuilding and so forth. We've been in some need of the former for a while now..

Also I was thinking we could do a Futurecraft roleplay on my "future" server we could make everyone except the referees adventure mode and battle on a ship or something, roleplaying like that, avenger would you be offended if I had a large community event like this occasionally, but you have the creative FC build world still? And I do survival, but my name would still be FutureCraft Imperial Server as it was before though, it should be survival though because when the mod is released it will be used in survival.

That would be fine, and it'll free up some of the RAM on my server that's currently running 3 worlds. My server is pretty much exclusively used for building, and you could use yours for survival mode and arena games. Thanks to worldedit, it's even possible to take a space station or something that was built on my server and use it as an arena on yours.

deal but a week or two after halo 4 comes out, cause I will be VERY busy, and I need to earn a little cash. So I do roleplay, survival, and PvP, all on the same world, except rolepay(separate world). I am going to try out your server now
