Its a rumored forum (which may or may not exist) where the devs discuss [CENSORED]. Or at least that's what I've heard. Personally I think it's just a myth.

I heard once any normal member reaches over 9000 posts, they can access it. Just a myth though

I have 600 posts, about. Lets say 500, for the sake of simplicity. It would take me 20 times this to reach 9000. And after that, then what? I probably still won't get to 51.

The area IS real, we don't discuss much that could be strictly called secret, but there are a few things you could potentially want. Ex, Frost's bug ridden between-dev release of Copernicus(it isn't even compiled). Its still all engine work, your really better off downloading the Zeppelin mod for now.

P.S., its Area 51, not 52 or 53

Posts are calculated with a quadratic equation that has a horizontal asymptote at 9000. Your post count is rounded. You can approach 9000, but never equal or exceed it.

That code non-trivially incompatible with 1.1.0, the ship had to be cut out manually from within the code, and you can't interact with the blocks outside of basic collision. Also the ship still uses the original glDisplayLists, so pieces of it will randomly get replaced with other terrain. It was just a proof of concept and I really don't want people trying to use it.

Once the new system is working I will make sure to release a demo before doing anything else.
