ACH0225's ship design(s) of Glory!!

So, I have an idea for a ship. This ship will be a cruiser, but will be so spectacularly designed, that it will be GLORIOUS!! Now, the ship will have your standard iron hull, with obsidian detailing, so it looks cool. The ship is part of the Mánagarm class cruisers, which will all look about the same, with varying roles, like seige, defense, intercept, ect. The command room will be in the middle of the ship vertically, but at the fron horizontally, and will be covered with several layers of armour. That's all I have for now, I'm building it in singleplayer to get a feel for the amount of blocks I will need in SMP.

I think that may just be a little too thick... I'd say 1
block, or two ON LARGER SHIPS. Besides, it doesn't matter how thick your hull
is, it will have the same amount of hitpoints as every other frigate. And, if
the enemy gets through your shield, you’re as good as dead, regardless of how
thick your hull is.

Well, first of all, drones. Second of all, the black wool is camoflauge.

Use obsidian, not wool. The obsidian has more blast resistance and is still black.

I am doing something similar, but with obsidian detailing.

I'd actually like hull-thickness to count for something, though everything I make will be eggshells armed with sledgehammers anyway.

All of my ships will be superiority armed with epicness, powered by awesomeness.

I'm going to power my ships with Kool-Aid

Also, that is a cruiser, not a frigate. And I will personally target all ships with wool visible and destroy them, regardless of who owns them.

Cruiser is cool too... And I will do the same.

The class of ship this ship belongs to is now called the Mánagarm class, meaning "Moon Hound" in Norse.

Some parts of the OP may be outdated. This ship is iron, not wool. -_-

It should be. I hate the fact that obsidian, glass, is stronger than a solid block of diamond. Logic?

Its the same logic that makes wood and stone float but not sand and gravel.

Well, the wood and stuff, we can only assume, is somehow connected to the neigboring block. I assume your hands are sticky, and your sweat acts as a natural glue, and you just bind two blocks together, and sand and gravel are tons of cubular pebbles, so they cant be bound together. Thats what I think, trippy, right

So I can put a stone block in mid air, remove the block connecting it to the ground, yet is still floats? Problem.

Hey man i tried to do some modifactions to the ship if you dont mind when the mod comes out i will not use your ship i just did it because i was bored. I added a hanger with the opening on the roof and i added a control room in the front of the ship

Well, the glass looks.... Ok...... my ships are meant to be very cramped inside, as should all space ships. Its expensive to put things in space, so my motto is, Every block counts

well that glass when the mod comes out will be replaced with a force feild so ships can move in and out of the hanger
