Oh, and district 9, and pandorum

and Halo the movie, which they should make.

District nine was supposed to be the halo movie, I think than ran out of money or something, I think it was better than a halo movie would have been.

I think some of the Halo Wars footage and cut scenes where they are taking back harvest were from the Halo movie that got cut. It got cut because of funds, right when the economy crashed.

I liked the transformers trilogy solely for the GIANT ALIEN ROBOTS!!!!!11!!!!one!

I never saw the second or third, the first was ok, but after Megan fox wore off...

well she cheapened the entire thing.

The Halo movie would be about the cookie monster obviously.

I would love to see a Halo movie, but it would just be so difficult to get right.

I think Bungie and Microsoft would wing pin the producers of the movie.

Bungie is no longer affiliated with Microsoft. It'd be 343. A Halo Movie doesn't seem too likely to be on the horizon, though

Halo movie? Depends on the plot, but we all know that Peter Jackson could turn any movie into epicsauce.

And yes, LOTR is the best movie. Period.

The biggest problem with the making of a Halo movie is which story to tell. There's just too much to fit into one three-hour film, so that decision has to be made. I think that Fall of Reach is a good place to start because it offers an introduction to the lore that most fans that just play the games never experienced. It would have to be done with little deviation from the book and none of those terrible Halo: Reach mess-ups.

LOTR movies were, are, and always shall be some of the best movies ever made. Only seconded by the actual, textual originals, of course.

And yes, it's a bit odd, but a really good movie.

And LOTR is the best-ever fantasy movie. Bar none.

LOTR was OK. I was kinda disappointed in it, though, because I saw the battle of Minas Tirith and assumed it would have awesome battles throughout it, as opposed to having no clear protagonist save for a whiny, unlikable hobbit.

Star Wars is considered Sci Fi/Fantasy and I think it's better, tbh.

This thread is about movies, not books.

The lotr movie cut too much out, and that, coupled with my brother watching all 3 everyday for a month, made me hate it.
