| We cover our ships with special materials, install energie shields, maybe use defense drones to prevent damage form any badassüber-weaponsystem.
But what happens, if we use one of this weapons against a planet/server, maybe a giant hole in the ground. An entire planet/server bombed out, useless, only a giant bedrocklayer left
So what can we do about that?
Reset server?
Creat special bombtheenemyserver weapons?
Run in circles and cry?

Install ground- placed shields. Build an orbital defense system. etc.

| How would you bomb it to bedrock? There's is NOT going tro be any weapons that do that. And besides, the attackers will have plenty of things keeping them occupied (like my kick-ass piloting skills in my custom fighter) | |

Remember, the world will be HUGE! I think Mackeroth? said over 40 kilometers from sea level to bedrock

| 40 km in circumference. Also I'm thinking that's still too big. Played on an 8km x 8km server the other day. It felt absolutely massive. | |

I think 4-12 km circumference will be fine for most purposes, as long as there is more than one planet per server, and they are random sizes within said range. That means they would range from roughly 1-4 km across.

You have to see the middle-earth recreation server then. There was a spotlight about that thing, had two parts, 45 mins each . 8Km seems ok ...

For a regular server. Try playing on a 40 km server going 10 times the speed of a normal player, with giant machines for building it. That said, the memory would be huge. 8km by 8km by 2km sounds good.

| I suppose that when you consider 8x8 is 8 times the size of a minexraft XB360 map, it will likely be more than fine. There will stil be hundreds of square chunks of forest, so it will be great. | |
