Btw, mediafire is undergoing a site redesign, pay it no attention.
Funny.

I think futurecraft will be a failure. I'm sorry but I have been waiting to say it and Frostbyte put tht thread up that is telling about just what i was envisioning: a server full of 10 year olds that think "its just a game" and dont take crap seriously. Then bad thigs happen.

If you think it will be a failure, leave. This forum is for people who want this mod and beleive it will work, those who don't are only taking up memory.

Pretty sure he's saying it will be a failure if we trust players to their own devices and hope for the best. And I agree with that. Even in an open sandbox there are rules and constraints which shape the way you interact with the world, and it's not a trivial matter to get this right.
Futurecraft has a major PvP focus, but that needs to be balanced with the creation aspect and cooperation between players. How do we encourage this? How do you counter the fact that something that may have taken days to build can be destroyed in seconds? This is what we need to be discussing if we want Futurecraft to be a success, not snapping at dissenting points of view.

You should see what goes on in Area 51. We actually get a lot of intelligent discussion done there (and some not-so-intelligent discussion).
