No they aren't. Frigates are some of the smallest ships around, and battlecruisers are some of the largest.

In the 19th century frigates were the smallest ships..suited for carrying messages, providing light escort, repeating flag signals throughout fleets during a battle (for there were no telephones, etc.), but where generally unsuited for combat, and in fact it was an unspoken rule that ships of the line were not to fire on them unless they did first.

A good relevant example of this is the frigates of Mass Effect..

Seriously. There needs to be a set system for this. I don't think anyone wants to bend over and call their battlecruiser a 'Tier 4 ship'.

I know what you mean, I've trying to build a smaller corvette, but every time i step back to look at it, it's always much bulkier than I'm intending. I've rebuilt it three times now!

The engines made a huge improvement, nice work! The main body still seems a little thin to me, but that's just my personal opinion about the future... Hope to see some more soon.
