My idea of trading (make up your own funny accents for the characters, it helps):

Trader: could we make a deal for my nice ship?

Me: You give me ship, I give you... nothing.

Trader: Nothing?! You must be joking!

Me: Fine. I give you: lump of rock.

Trader: well... tempting offer, but I'm going to have to say... no.

Me (speaking like a civilized human being): well then my dear lad, there is only one thing for it then: prepare to feel the wrath of the (arguably) finest warship ever built! Behold: the (insert name here)!

Actually, what should we call our flagship? Atlantis/other city-ships aren't war vessels, so they don't count.

My Idea of A Trade :

You :Nice Ship who owns it ?
Trader: Its mine.
You : Wrong Answer.
*Death Trader lies on the earth*
You : Okay lets test out my New Awesome Ship *

Riddick Rules afro

Ps : The window for Bling Bling is an Alternate Equipment window like in the Aether mod.

How it would really go
1You: Give me your ship trader!
2Trader How about no?
3You: Hows about I destroy your ship?
4Trader: How about I just kill you before you go back to your ship?
*phew* killed you while you were typing your response
maybe you should just kill him next time.
alternative if you were communicating without being face to face ig starting after line 3.
4.Trader: *whisper to second command call in for back up we have another smart guy.
*second in command: yes sir
5.Trader (back to you): Fine I will transfer all our current stores to you sound good?
6.You : awesome How long
7.Trader: *to second in command: how long will it take for back up?
*second in command: 5 minutes out
8.Trader to you: Give us 15 minutes to gather it up to transfer
9.You: Yay free stuff.
*five minutes later*
Largest ship in the whole armada appears.
10.You: Da...
Ship fires before you can finish
11Trader: Well time to go sell this at the hub.

The Vampyr.

PRONOUNCED: VAMPER

MEANING: It was a African (or maybe Australian?) monster that really didn't have anything to do with today's "vampire".

I was thinking of the "infius" (in-fi-us). I think I will start a topic about naming ships.

hmm, the alien flora actually sounds like a cool idea, but it seems like it wouldn't be able to be easily integrated, and just be a massive pain

I don't think its actually that hard to add extra plants and mobs (at least not hard compared to all the game engine stuff)

note: I just realized that since plants will be traded from planet to planet something will be needed to stop people from just buying one plant from the other side of the galaxy and starting a farm for it since that would make the galactic location based spawning pointless. maybe it could take a lot longer to grow if its in the wrong part of the galaxy
