@Keon WTF Pylons we are speaking about energy storage Crystals not about Starcraft

Additionaly: The Upgraded growing plan instead of placing the Crystals on Minerals (or such stuff) we throw the Minerals on them (with Q(by Default))

Pylons are Kahadryan Crystals. (Spelled wrong, I know.) They store energy and information, as seen in the crystals below Aiur. Your point?

And Mackeroth just said no growth.

not necessarily magic, diamonds and such CAN store large amounts of heat IRL

Thats why we need them. I can donate some funky crystals one of my mystics found. He says magic, I say radiation.

Well if you notice, the pylons are huge crytals surrounded by a metal ring. This ring isn't just for aesthetics, it's a device which uses a portion of the energy from the pylon to create an anti-gravity field, allowing it to float off the ground.

How else do you think motherships fly? Or probes?
Anyway, it's not your choice.

Yea we had to research a way to make a light-saber work and this is what we used to store power. So maybe store power in carbon nano tubes.

Sorry never heard of it. I was not one directly working on what was to be used to store power I was working on the "on" "off" blade and what to use as a blade.

Oh, you can buy telescoping lightsabres anywhere. Then they have powerful magnets as the rods controlling a heated plamsa, which is what actually cuts..

According to IBM, crystals can actually store a massive amount of data in holographic form.

We're talking like at least a terabyte in a small-to-midsized ring-quality diamond. If not more.

I don't think it works that way :/

there aren't actually any magnets controlling the plasma, there's just not very much there (its like 1/3 of an inch or less)

A lightsaber would take a anti-matter generators worth of energy just to power it for a few seconds. Fit THAT in a lightsaber handle.
