Minerals, Compounds, and Raw Materials
(Raw Materials)
Iron
-Common base metal.
Steel
-Made from iron.
Phokate
-A common mineral found near the surface and anywhere else, it has explosive properties that make it useful for weapons.
It can be combined with various other resources to make different compounds.
Duridine
-A strong, common metal usually combined with steel to make Duri-Steel.
Titanium
-A strong, yet light metal commonly used for ship building. It can be refined multiple times to improve its qualities.
Tungsten
-A heavy metal that is one of the toughest possible. However, it is not very common.
Lavine
-A highly combustible mineral that makes a very good propellant.
Ilotin
-A highly dangerous chemical that causes burns in a solid state, and dissolves in a liquid state.
Uranium
-A radioactive element used commonly in reactors or weapons.
Maridine
-A mineral that contains unusual amounts of energy. Can be used for various purposes.
Ardinium
-The strongest metal that is not man-made. Very rare. Only the most wealthy empires can afford a ship made from this.
Ship Classes
(Very Small) I suggest these be models like the planes mod, but thats more for looks.
Fighter
-The smallest manned ship. Can be crudely crafted on a workbench.
Bomber
-Same as the fighter except for armament's. Can be crudely crafted on a workbench.
=ANYTHING AFTER THIS BREAK CANNOT BE CRAFTED AT A WORKBENCH=
Fighter/Bomber
-Slightly larger, and much more versatile. Cannot be crafted on a workbench.
Assault Shuttle
-Larger than the fighters, and more durable. Is able to carry 4 soldiers into battle.
(Small)
Drop Ship
-Less armed than the Assault Shuttle, but carries up to 10 armed soldiers into battle for larger insertions.
Cargo Ship
-Carries a lot of cargo, and maybe some spare vehicles.
Landing Ship
-The largest ship made specifically for landing troops. Carries up to 40 soldiers and/or some vehicles of your choice.
Frigate
-Larger than the landing ship, and armed even more. A good escort or patrol ship.
(Medium)
Destroyer
-A ship that should be the bread and butter of any good fleet. Its good cost and size allows for very good versatility.
Cruiser
-Larger than the Destroyer, but still retains versatility. This is a good middle ground for a fleet, as it is big enough to contain a decent
fighter squadron, yet still small enough to conduct covert operations.
Battlecruiser
-The largest you can get while still maintaining versatility and reasonable stealth capabilities.
Freighter
-A ship dedicated to transporting supplies, vehicles, and people. It is not made for combat, however, and should be escorted constantly.
Carrier
-A ship made specifically for carrying small ships and fighters of the like. Is not heavily armed, and relies on its fighters for protection.
(Large)
Factory Ship
-Made for the maintaining of a fleet. Can produce many tools and weapons. It can even produce any ships that are
small enough to fit in its production bays.
Battleship
-Made specifically for combat, this huge ship is a fearsome sight to behold in battle. However, it can be swarmed by enough
smaller craft, and therefore needs a few other ships with it.
Dreadnought
-The largest ship possible, and the deadliest possible. Some moons are dwarfed by this monster. If it attacks you,
RUN FOR YOUR LIFE.
