You're supposed to stale the bread before making it. As a way to use already-ruined loafs it's great, but most recipes call for deliberately spoiling the bread to make it absorb the moisture better. | |

| Ahh umm, I think I may have been doing this wrong.. I've been frying freshly baked bread in egg, salt and pepper before coating it in sugar :3 It tastes nice at least, I have no idea what it is though. | |

| I see nothing wrong with this, if you're worried about 'waste' just make desum bread twice a week and you'll get stale bread in 2-3 days. | |
