Mod Support

If you do mod support as I heard about the TMI thing, ou should add better than wolves or Buildcraft!

Probably won't happen. This mod breaks Forge. Badly. The only way to resolve it is to code up an entirely new version of Forge by hand. Same goes for most mods, actually.
To compensate for this, we'll be implementing our own version of the more useful and thematically relevant stuff, though with our own take on it. So hopefully you won't miss them too much.

I just gotta ask this as I've seen this whole "support other mods" argument a few times.

But first, I don't think people really understand the total grasp of what Future Craft is going to be. It's a total conversion mod, this isn't going to be Better Than wolves, adding windmills and wolf pooh. This is going to add a space dimension, space ships, and an entire game built around it. On to the question.

Why, then, I must ask, why would you want a space ship but be worried about whether or not you can build a windmill? The mechanical power stuff in BTW is broken as it is (at least in my opinion) and the tech tiers are rather sloppy. It's a good mod, don't get me wrong, but it certainly doesn't fit within the realm of Future Craft.

In conclusion, I'm 100% behind Frost when I state that we probably will not be actively supporting other mods, but rather attempting to implement features that our fan's give us a feed back on. And keep in mind too that when we do ultimately finish this, I don't think your first thought it going to be "man I wish this worked with build craft".
