| Well, if you read some of the concepting behind powering ships, I think Doc's idea works even better (in theory anyway) than a wireless system.
Technically, a wireless system is open exploiting by your enemy, they might be able to jam it or even harness it against you.
Doc's idea was to have a node. Basically you wire your generator into the ship itself, then us a node block where you need a power outlet in the ship, then wire what you need powered into the node. This would keep you from having to run a wire all the way from the generator to the computer system, it would be in effect as though the ships walls were wired as you might see in a real ship.
We're not 100% set on what we are doing for power either, so it will be something to debate.

| Just make sure you don't use a sentient system. Or else you're getting a GLaDOS+Skynet problem. | |

| Maybe have to craft the blocks with wire to make wired blocks that look the same but carry power, so that you dont have Generator A linked up to Engine B or vice versa, or even worse....... Nuclear launch point A linked up to Reactor A when Reactor A should be powering Engine A, while poised above the motherworld. | |

You are forgetting one very important fact: FOR YOUR MISSILES TO FIRE, THEY NEED TO RECEIVE A COMMAND FROM A CONTROL CHAIR (OR COMPUTER). NO ACCIDENTAL FIRES ARE POSSIBLE. Unless you just manage to "accidentally" type in the password to turn on the chair/computer, go through the sub-directories in the computer/control chair's device list, find the one which says "Missile tubes", press the pop-up message saying "you are not presently being attacked, are you sure you wish to fire?" then have the missile tubes loaded with the completely unnecessary nuclear missiles.

Then again, you haven't seen what I am capable of yet... He has.

He has. You would still have to be a complete idiot to "accidentally" fire the nuclear missiles. And you would have to have the password, which most idiots don't.

Speaking of which, wouldn't the person who crafted the nuclear missile then make a launch code for that missile? Or is there another way of doing this that I have missed?
