Gov't Type: Democracy
Geography: 2 Sol-type star systems, 1 binary system, 4 habitable planets.

Population: 10 million humans
Military: 100,000 enlisted, 3,000 officers

Also, the Commonwealth sports the 105th and 302nd Marine Divisions.


Obviously not a warlike people, the Commonwealth tends to rely on both it's proximity (of lack thereof) to larger empires for security, in addition to it's nearly indestructible single Battlestar, the Pegasus [CWBS 62]. In addition to this, the Commonwealth's troops are very highly trained, rating "special Forces" in many other militaries. Quality, not quantity.

The Commonwealth also has some of the most advanced medical equipment and medical care systems in the galaxy, and thus is a center for refugees, travelers, and many others.

So many allies! Oh, just beware, if two of you fight each other, CW stays neutral and will support both sides FROM A NON-MILITARY PERSPECTIVE. I.E. medical equipment, food, water, yada yada.

Unfortunately, the EE's policy of military dictatorship is against Commonwealth laws to ally.

We shall remain neutral to you. Any attacks againt us in retaliation will be percieved as an unprovoked attack.

Cloning is disallowed within the Commonwealth and we own jump drives, making hyperdrives unrequired.

Jump drives can put a ship within 20 meters of it's intended destination.

Also, what's your gov't method? Dictatorship?

I hope we don't count. We have something similar to a dictatorship. the differance is, the constitution made by our forefathers makes it possible for the citizens to impeach thier leader, and impossible for the ruler to control the military against it's own citizens without the citizens trying to break away or to fight the government.( Fight as in REAL fighting, not resisting the government. Resistance works, because if enough want a different ruler, they simply vote on it.) The ruler basically has power against outside forces, and tiny menial things that effect everyday life, but is not able to hinder the citizens in impeaching him, nor is he able to avoid being impeached.
