The html5 parts aren't terribly relevant to us, but there is a lot of useful info regarding general multiplayer network design, as well as a few novel solutions to typical problems I've not seen elsewhere. It's a fascinating watch, if anyone is interested in this sort of thing.

Seeing as I only vaguely knew it could animate stuff... That's incredible. Is that all HTML5, or what did they use for the actual movements?

The physics engine and most of the backend processes are done with javascript modules. HTML5 handles the frontend parts.
