| I keep talking about it, but does anyone want to play a game?
Because I have it, and you're all on the futurecraft forums so you're interested in space ships and space battles, which means the chances are high you either have the game or would like it.
But if you do have it and want to play a game:
1- What race do you prefer?
2- How would you define yourself? Noob- hardly know what you're doing. Medium, you know your ships, your buildings, how to build fleets and beat computers. Good - You play player vs player games and know lots of tactics and such against players. Pro - we don't want to be against you.
3- Would you rather be interested in a player vs player game or player vs computer, or possibly a mixed scenario depending on how many players we get ( like a 3human v 3human v 6 comp team, where the humans could fight but are better off uniting against the computers )
Edit: 4- Also, what kind of computer are you using, because my computer can handle a 12-player 500 star system map, but if you're playing on a laptop, you probably can't and we'll have to stick to smaller games.
I'll answer those questions myself to begin the thread:
1- I prefer the Advent, I always prefer the highly advanced, mighty thunder-god like race in games. Protoss in Starcraft, Night Elves in warcraft, etc...
2- I'm medium, possibly good. I know my shit and I'd like to think I've got a pretty badass fleet composition for military victory.
3- Player vs CPU, because I've never played an actual full player vs player game and I don't really know how that stuff goes down. I'm open to player vs player though, because if we start playing games often, I gotta learn how to do it.
4- My computer was forged in the burning fury of a thousand suns.

| I prefer Vasari or the TEC, the first for badassness, the second for simplicity. I'm a bit between noob and medium...I've yet to beat a CPU because I've gotten bored before finishing the game Player vs 2 CPUs that also war each other. Good for general confusion. I'd really like to play you sometime to pick up some tips on how to play | |

I'd really like to play you sometime to pick up some tips on how to play I was thinking about making a nice illustrated guide to my strategy for offense and defense, but before doing that I wanna make sure I'm not going to be playing against any of you. Not yet anyways, I'd like to play the first player vs player game without the enemy knowing my tactics! I added a question 4!

| Coincidentally enough, my laptop perfectly fits your description. Repping a i3 350m and GMA HD xD
I once ran a big galaxy with my pal though, but that was 1v1

I once ran a big galaxy with my pal though, but that was 1v1 I played in a galaxy so large it literally took over one hour for my ships to jump from one star to another. While I waited I built a second fleet, sent it elsewhere, and then a third, and sent it yet again to another destination, then worked my economy and research and then got bored and then the first fleet arrived to its destination where I discovered the star system had no value, it was filled with magnetic fields and debris fields. Oh and forgive my general computer systems ignorance but is that good or bad for a laptop?

| It's bad. Laptops tend to be underpowered, even the 590m is equivalent to a desktop 6790 Radeon HD But the portability factor more than makes up for it, imo. | |

Sins of a Solar Empire, a game with a scale so large Starcraft is minuscule in comparison. Raddeon sapphire 6950 here! Yay.

| Holy cow, a radeon 6950? I am so jealous of you right now. And no WMD will fill the hole in my heart that was caused by the lack of subjugation in this game. The rebellion trailer showed soldiers getting on to ships, so I'm assuming that means something of the sort | |

The rebellion trailer showed soldiers getting on to ships, so I'm assuming that means something of the sort Subjugation? The Advent have a massive mind control cannon instead of a Novalith, which turns a planet's population against its government and causes it to spread the Advent player's culture for a certain period of time. With a battery of Deliverance engines, you can easily neutralize entire star systems without even setting foot in them. One of their capital ships also has an ability to cause the population to auto-destruct in hysteria.

That's scary. Who is protoss in this game? The Advent would be the closest ressemblance to the Protoss: highly advanced, psionic beings. They were humans to begin with, but their scientific practices would cause them to be outcast, banished far out into space. There, they were left in peace to develop their sciences and technology with no morals or laws to stop them. Years later, they returned with a gigantic fleet of highly advanced warships to claim their vengeance on those who had cast them aside.

Oh, well Last Jedi mentioned he hates it when his star systems get mind controlled so he might be hinting that either he has it or he's just making a joke because nobody would like it if your star systems get mind controlled. If not we can always have a 2v2v2 with 2 comp teams, to keep things interesting.

There's a star wars mod for this game, so you can fly armadas of Star Destroyers into battle. Your interest level has just raised by over 9000.
