So I've been thinking about buying a new graphics card.

I'm looking to spend maybe $180 on a new graphics card. That's not a lot, I know, so I'm probably going to have to get an older card.

It might not be the most powerful model out there, but it fits my budget, and it is important to stick to your budget.

You are kiddin me ? This graphics card is so freaking old so it is useless to buy it. Graphics cards are an investment and cost money so if you are not ready to spend it you end up with nothing. This card cannot take on modern games even with low settings. If you want an aged card that will still give you something take Nvidia geForce GTX260. The current best model is GTX690 I think . Please note that your card is of the prev series , it goes like GT 7000 , GT 8000 , GT 9000 , GTX 200 ,GTX 300 ...

Lol, I really didn't think anyone would take that post seriously. The thing to take away from this is that there is a retailer trying to sell the economy model of an 8 year old GeForce series for $165. And it's not just a fluke either. If you visit their main site, you'll find they have thousands of models, and all of them have similarly surreal prices. I've never seen anything quite like it.


And for the record, I own an 8800GTS and a 560 TI, but I primarily stick to the 8800 because it gives me a better benchmark for mid-range PC performance while I'm working on Futurecraft.
Also I'm vaguely offended you thought I didn't know anything about graphics cards. For shame.

Hey man I don't find it offensive, I just don't expect everyone to know everything about the comp . Telling you the truth I don't know a lot about it either, for me it's just important that it works. When watch the TV you don't start opening it and playing with it's parts right ?

BTW I have now noticed the fake reviews down (I believe they are) ...
