Not to be a prude, but if you guys want to shift discussion about the tekkit place over to the server stuff subforum it'd be appreciated. Gamenights would probably have to be non-minecraft titles to distinguish them from business as usual.

If we are going for minecraft... Well I don't even need to say anything for you to know what I'm suggesting.

Hopefully I can have everything updated to 1.6.4 and balance properly, get a big city map, make two bases, and fight over the city, with Mechs.

It won't come to that if Proto does what he says he'll do and sets it up beforehand with easily followed guidelines for maximum enjoyment of the gamemode.

If we are going to do my idea, I doubt I can have it ready for Saturday, as I'm on holiday right now.

I have guns and Mechs working fine, but the rest isn't quite done yet, I'll also need to draw up some decent rules.

It would help, I advise that you have a play with the beta of Omega I released to get a feel for how it plays.

Nov 2nd I don't know if I can et everything set up for, may have to cut out deployable mgs

Kerbalherders, check the KSP Thread. Fen found a (WIP but functional) mod that allows for multiplayer.

I'm thinking Gamenight might be a thing after all.

That's no better than expecting everyone to have SOASE. The only commercial title really suitable for a gamenight is MC, and even then a lot of people don't have it (legally, anyway).

In order for this to really work the game in question usually has to be either freeware or abandonware so everyone can reasonably obtain it.
