There are plenty of legitimate concerns. Cronyism, a collapsing education system, laws being made by people who don't understand technology, a news media industry completely devoid of journalistic integrity, the lizard people, a toxic party divide, etc. But if you start throwing imaginary grievances into the pot as well, all those legitimate issues lose credibility simply through association.

I agree that this blog may not be the most reputable source. But you can't go around getting all of your news from CNN, either. Better to be overly suspicious and make a fool of yourself, than to ignore all the horrific shit in this world and end up oppressed.

Proto: Turns out I have ~10 unopened cans of paint in my garage. Also 400 feet of climbing rope, an RV water filter, a hand-operated water pump, a big can of acetone, and a machete.

I need to go in there more often.

Get on my level, I have two gas masks, a few gallons of gasoline, some 9mm shells, 2 water filters, survivalist books, 2 machetes, a combat knife, BDUs, and a flak jacket. As for news, I watch Faux news occasionally, but I just check the 'chans whenever I want to know what's happening.
