| Tonight at 9:00 PM, I must attend the Homecoming dance at my Highschool per request of my girlfriend.
I do not wish to attend. Any tips on how to get out of it? It is currently ~7:30 PM. | |

Just go to it. How bad could it be? Besides, any BS excuses this forum comes up with, your GF will see right through them. Not good if you plan on keeping her.

| Ok, I see you're dead-set on this.
Injure yourself. Not majorly, but enough that it, 1.) It shows,2.) It isn't dangerous, a minor thing and 3.) It's logical that you wouldn't come to the dance due to your "Injury". For example, if you hit the side of your knee hard enough, it'll start hurting to walk, but won't do any permanent damage. Then you can say that you injured yourself, it hurts to walk, and that you won't be arriving.
I know this from experiments. Maybe it'll help. | |

| Couldn't pull the jury duty one, she's a one of the smart ones.
Also I wouldn't readily injure myself as I was going to go LARPing with my friends afterwards. If that wasn't the case I would trip and fall on the hardwood floor so hard you don't even know. | |
