| I'm not entirely sure what the question is. All my ships are symmetrical, but none of them are like that. The right side is a mirror of the left side. I don't do any form of individual-block symmetry like you seem to be talking about. | |

| Asymmetry is very good if used properly. Mackeroth's dreadnought, for example.
A combination of the two is ideal to create an interesting ship design, though I have to agree with Jedi in that I have no kriffing clue what you're saying here. | |

Right. If your ship is an odd number of blocks wide and symmetrical, it's BIBIB, if it's even and symmetrical, it's BIB. Also, that ship I'm building isn't a dreadnought. It's too small. It's a Battlecruiser (1-4 scale replicite) Replicite (rep-li-kite) (n): a partial replica that differs from the original in some aspects. | |
