We made it. Device secured and Black Hole devices collected. We lost at least 53 men, but it was worth it. Scientists aboard the Ragnarov are currently studying the device, but it isn't over yet.

We uncovered the second half of the tablet. It activated and spelled it's message when we took the device. Following is a recording of the message it played.

"Traveller, beware the Guardian Reapers. They seek the Device. You possess it, and they will find you. Take caution. The key to destruction now lies in your hands. Be wise, and destroy it now."

It was played in our language. They acquired it somehow. Those grunts we fought on the way out, were they the guardians they mentioned?

Keep a watch out for unidentified ships. If the tablet has any truth in it, they will come soon.

Trade with the Eggman Empire has been cancelled until further notice. Recent freighter ships have been seen carrying active Nuclear Weapons. While only one went off along with a freighter, we cannot afford to take a risk where one of these go off in a major city or installation.

I believe it is safe to assume that you have never faced the DSPC in combat. No being outside our race has ever seen one of our dreadnoughts in action and lived to tell of it.

Edit: I have recently been authorized to allow the single ship passage, if necessary, in exchange for ongoing access to all cutting-edge engine and conceptual weaponry designs. It will be escorted by 6 heavy cruisers to insure that there is no deviation from its predetermined course. And attempt to raise shields or charge weapons will result in destruction. Scanners must also be disabled until you are clear of our core worlds. Providing false information as uncovered by our humint sources will result in appropriate retaliation.

You are, again, assuming that the Revenge will lower her shields or weapons, especially in such a target-rich and obviously hostile environment. Even if, however, her shields were to be lowered, her gravity-lensed laser batteries alone would be more than capable of engaging thrice as many cruisers and destroying them before they could get a shot in edgewise. You will have no access to our technologies, beyond what your after-action reports can gather from the wreckage of your fleets and worlds about their power if you should continue this belligerent course. I would think of the Lyat System as a meeting point, since a war destroyed every living inhabitant making it currently unclaimed territory.
Just one question: How will you keep the owls from attacking the meeting just to kill The Doctor?

The Aesthyst won't last long duking it out with a battlecruiser. I'm ordering her to go on full impulse, to hopefully stay out of firing range of that cruiser while a task force moves to intercept it. If nothing else, the Aesthyst has been retrofitted with a hangar carrying a sole corvette. I've given Captain Felman operational discretion on as on when to transfer the princess to the smaller vessel.

Is the situation that dire on Aqualympia?

Also concerning the Doctor's trial. Would you mind postponing it until we have this mess sorted out? We are a little busy fighting for our lives at the moment. I am quite sure the Doctor will understand.

It would be beneficial for you to rendezvous with Task Force 21 at the attached coordinates and coordinate with Rear Admiral Hakin to ambush the rebel spacecraft together.

Admiral? We've just finished integrating your gill tech into the 11th Cosmic Infantry Brigade. I'm going to need some foreign input here before I deploy them to Aqualympia, Layna ain't budging. This should take care of your planetside rebel problem.

Our first Fleet has arrived.
That battle is quite at the edge.
Our ships will help to secure the flagship of the Aqualympian Space Empire and save any survivors.
(it seems to be heavily demaged since its communicators are down)

The Rogue Trader Alliance is sending warfleets 1, 2, 4, and 8 to assist the Aqualympians. Once the safety of the Aesthyst is guaranteed, the Dominus Astra and the 12th warfleet will also help the Aqualympians with destroying the rebels.

The ASE Great White has been secured, Admiral Rekiin is now onboard the EES Fortress II and is allowed to use its communicator to further controll the battle and contact other factions.

That's better. A little zzzzzttzz then I would prefer but zzzzzt-st you can more or less zzzzttttzz me. Anyhow, on the ground we're doing fine-ish. Some of the people are starting to get desperate and I'm pretty sure that eventually they'll turn tail and flee - only to be halted by our tanks which are now almost in position.

As for the pirates, they've all run off to their mummies. However, the rebels appear to have found one of our shipyards where a dreadnought was being constructed. I'll bet my shiny admiral's badge that the first wave was sent to distract us while they finished it off. Obviously they're nowhere near our level when it comes to ship-to-ship combat so they aren't quite as big a threat as they could be. Still, that much fire power is still dangerous even under their control.

Fleet 6 and 10 are coming to Aqualympia to check for anyone is alive down there and help with the fight.

I'd send a fleet but I have most of the 8th fleet in Task Force 21.

The rest are on patrol, last I checked. I'm going to send the 11th Infantry over in a flotilla of dropships protected by a handful of corvettes. When they arrive, some form of fire support would be appreciated so our men can get on the ground and assist in retaking the planet from the rebels.

So it appears we do have at least one loyal privateer even
if he is completely out of his mind. Also, we're pursuing the enemy dreadnought and
General Dennis is saying that a few hundred rebels have escaped and the rest have surrendered. With a little luck, we'll have this cleaned up by sunset.

The EE ships will make sure that nor rebel ship enters or leaves the atmosphere of Aqualympia.

The advanced drive units on the 8th warfleet's ships should allow them to outrun the dreadnought and set up an ambush to slow it down for the other fleets to move in and destroy it. Waiting for your command, Admiral Reklin.

1) Most of the rebels have surrendered.

2) I am not Reklin, Reekin or whatever. My name is Rekiin. Two I's see?

3) The still-incomplete rebel Dreadnought, stolen from one of the ASE shipyards, has not yet left Aqualympia.

4) The Keel-hauler is a rebel pirate cruiser that is pursuing the Aesthyst. Task Force 21 and (I think) the Rogue Traders are going to intercept it.

5) A few of the rebel pirates have also escaped, however the last loyal privateer, Captain Kilstreek of the Drunken Musketeer is after them.

6) Jack (Sorry don't know what your faction is called) is taking care of the escaped rebels and
aiding to his own men.)

7) Caltech have put the Doctor's trial on hold.

8 ) There are E.E ships in orbit around Aqualympia, preventing anyone with negative intentions from leaving.

9) Avenger and Shiva are having a verbal space battle.

10) Thousands of lives have been lost on both sides.
