Out of Curiousity

This post is mostly intended for Mackeroth. I was just curious as to what you meant by coming on the server and saying, "I'll make sure I remember you."
Is this supposed to be some sort of threat?

Of course not. He likes to memorize peoples names so he can greet you the next time he sees you.

a) Increase publicity.
b) Appear tough (or rather, "tuff").
c) To see what will happen.
d) Strategically plant the seeds of destruction that will herald the collapse of civilization as you know it.
e) Erase all traces of imperfection.
f) Make friends.

No Tiel. I know virtually nothing. And I know that I can never know all there is to know, if that makes any sense. We are all learning Tiel, never forget that.

Really, it's Mackeroth with all the arrogance and what not. My heart has only recently thawed out, which will likely result in an utter collapse of Mackeroth in the next month or so.

I said I know virtually nothing. I still know a lot more than you!

I only started being arrogant after I created Mackeroth, as he was a way of circumnavigating the fact that I was being a horrible person.

Totally forgot I posted this thread. However, I'd like to state a couple things. Just because they've been nagging at me for awhile--

Mackeroth, I couldn't care less what your opinion on me is. Nor could I care any less about your (and I use the word your lightly) community thinks about me. See, when a group of players shows up on a server, and immediately becomes the dominant population, they seem to get this dominant attitude. Much like yours did. Using Xray Clients, bickering, claiming supremacy, attempting to grief other factions, etc.. The reason you were banned specifically. As I stated before, you aren't welcome on our server. You just simply aren't, no one wants you on here. None of the players appreciate what you brought to our friendly little community, and have each in turn raised concern over the matter.

Fr0st, I think what you're doing for this project is amazing. I personally am heading to a career in Game Design and Art and I'm looking forward to learning coding, much like yourself. In my opinion, you get far too little credit. From what I see, this is your mod. Not Mackeroth's mod. You put all the work into it, you take time out of your schedule to work on something for free, and you don't seem to care much about what peoples' opinions are on how fast or accurately you work. You simply do what you need to do, or rather what you want to do.

As for the Hyperlite. Well, honestly. I don't have much to say to you besides the fact that you're pretty useless when it comes to griefing.

Everyone has his own part of credit. Mack gets the credit for making a futurecraft thread with 100+ pages on the MCforums, more than any modder could ever wish ... believe me it's important , my Skyrim mod has barely 7 pages and I consider it an achievement already ... You are more luckily to draw attention, be taken seriously and basically get more help if your mod thread has 100 pages ...

I take myself credit for the siggies . Frostbyte gets most of the credit for the game's engine though ...

As far as I'm aware no one of our community members use X-ray. I do admit they are a bit immature but not too much . I don't know exact details but I tend to be on mack's side simply because you spoke bad about the whole community. See, telling me I'm not welcome even if you never met me will make you not welcome here ...


Cmon we have many quality members here that do incredible stuff. Our coders, our modellers and texturers, even the simple fanbase has some positive sides. Have a look at Laserbilly's ships for example: https://futurecraft.forumotion.com/t630-terran-trade-confederation

Automatically banning the whole community is quite wrong in my opinion and I'm sure many good community members are offended by it.

Futurecraft goes a lot farther than just making ships fly and the game running smoothly. By the time it is complete, if it can ever be considered such, we'll have created an entire space MMO where there was once just a building sandbox. By that time, you will be seeing the works of everyone else working on this mod far more prominently, while my engine work will fade into the background, as intended.

Side-note: X-ray won't work in Futurecraft, nor will it work much longer in vanilla if I do a good job selling my occlusion culling patch. There's certainly interest in it so I think I've got a shot.
