| And then make a new player area where the big fleets can't camp and blow up little ships just coming into space. | |

| I get it! Sort of like, Slip-Space. It's extremely difficult to stay in it (Hence Slip-Space) But it is like the Nether in travel, Distances travelled there are maybe, 32-64 times the distance in space.
And Owls, we will soon not be using Chemical Rockets. I heard of plans for a Mass Driver being finalized to launch up Mount Everest, Chemical Rockets for the final 1000 meters into orbit, then an advanced Nuclear Salt Water Rocker and/or Ion Drive engine pairs to get up to speed. Oh, and Solar Sails.

Oh, and Solar Sails. Thats not enough. How about something like 1 minute for 4 light years. Also, you can't be pulled out out of a server system.

| I think if you come from a different server/system you should be invulnerable, but in the time in which you are invulnerable you can't fire weapons. I think the effect should last 10s. But if you got an engine and not a Gate you could spawn where no other players/NPC's are. | |

Actually it would just take about four years. The closest star, Alpha Centauri, is 4.24 light years from the sun, so with the speed of light it would take 4.24 years to get there. Isn't the closest star currently Proxima Centauri, hence the name Proxima.

Nope. Proxima Centauri is the star closets to Sol, then it's Alpha Centauri A and Alpha Centauri B
