| It wouldn't make that much sense if a species attacks another species that never had any contact with any other races, but has the same air and vehicles. So what i am suggesting is user made models and skins that the admin can add to his server. The models would just make the air and armour look different so two of the same tanks may look different but they would be the same tanks in every way just they would look different and give the servers some uniqueness to them.
Now I know some servers would have multiple factions In them, but the admin could just go to some kind of team Management menu that would have an add models and skins , this would add a model or skin to that faction and only that fraction , so another fraction on that server would not be able to make their Vehicles look like the other faction.
and I don't care about any spelling or grammar if you have a comment about any spelling or grammar don't post it

| I think this is basically a good Idea, but it would also be fine if there would be an easy to use modelling helper. | |

| We really need to create a thread where we can discuss the good ideas we've seen. We need to create a priority/base feature list (all the stuff that will be added), and a feature list (all the stuff we would LIKE to add, but mightn't). | |

| They wouldn't have the same ships, though, because they dont have a model. The ships would be however the builder wanted them to look.
But i agree with your idea. I also think that there should be different types of firearms that use different types of projectiles for the same purpose.
Ex. Plasma, Energy (normal laser), Projectile, etc.
Each would also have different balancing factors, such as damage, ammunition cost, effectiveness against a given armor.
This way you can have some bandits rading with bolters and other gun-like weapons, while an advanced task force will be armed with cutting edge plasma weaponry.
And when i say plasma, i dont mean fire-quality plasma, i mean pure atomic-level, lightning quality plasma. | |

| I'm not talking about ships, I'm talking about different models for ground forces like tanks and apcs, mech and walkers, and air, like gunships, and fighters.
Also skins for infantry armour, and different pixel art for guns. | |

| guns, i can DEFINITELY help with. After making over a dozen weapon icons for flan's mod, i know where each pixel goes. Still need a word on my application for something mac wants to texture to see if im worthy. (preferably something not 4 demensional, and not given as a modelling task like the other guy who applied as a modeller) | |

| I'm the other texture artist scout. If you give some examples of your work, I can find something you may be able to use.
On Topic: I think that this is going to happen on some level, that two enemies will have to look different. Otherwise, how would you know who to shoot? Maybe each server chooses a color scheme that s unique to that server only, and no other server can use that scheme. | |

My past examples are on my application, and i made my first 32x32 teture for a kind of laser-like rifle that is under my idea for drop pods and strategic maps. BUt i do agree this would be a very good idea. | |
