Tekkit War Server

So whats the IP? If you don't have it set up yet, when will it be up?

Well, me and block have no idea, as soon as someone wants to host it on their nice computer, and leave it up basically all day. Or they could buy a dedicated one, but that costs money. We just have the idea.

Did anything ever happen with this idea?

well, if flan/ahelluvalotofotherpeople would update there mods/port them to SMP

Make sure you include "Come Closer", it makes it so you can only see names above people's heads if they are 4-6 blocks away from you. Makes PvP a lot more interesting. And more fun.

well, most of the mods i wanted to use aren't mp yet, so Im going to make the client side for now :L

Anyone want to set this up? Not me. But if anyone else wants to put together a mod pack that is better go ahead. And fofus I love that mod, but it has been buggy. I tried to use the intercontinental launcher but it just went up and back down into itself a lot. worked rarely for me. But if you put that with flans plane mod and WW2 guns and WW2 vehicles from flan that would be great. We would still have to do something about people not just raiding different teams when nobody else is on. Let people build up and then have a big battle in a new cool war zone that ops make every week. One week may be a city next may be an open battleground, but having tanks and planes and guns and missiles and fighting in minecraft has to be good!

Does tekkit have planes mod?

Nope tekkit is more for long term building, only weapons are like mining lasers, but the WW2 mods by flan have a bunch of different guns and tanks and planes.

Sounds like a really cool idea. This may sound redundant but if you want to have any kind of secret base or spying get the Come Closer mod by budwise, this limits how far the name above a player's head shows. Budwise also has a good NPC mod in development, but it only has archers, swordsman, and fire mages.

Flan updated his thing and has modern weapons too! It has WW2 guns and Nerf guns are also new! He also added a full size bomber! I have not checked this in a while, tons of new awesome stuff.

Edit" you can mount MG42s somebody make a server right now.

I sense Futurecraft needs a space fighter mod for multiplayer.

I did a search for "Flan's Place Mod" on the Minecraft Forum, and the first result was Futurecraft. ???

Well, place mod isn't what it's called. But that's cool.

Planes mod mac. But that is the old name. Now he has just a list of things you need for compatibility and then you can get content packs.

I tried getting it. Now Minecraft is broken.

You need to put these in the jar:

Modloader
Modloadermp
playerapi
minecraftforge
turbomodelthingy

then you need to make a folder in your .minecraft that is called "mods" and put flans mod in there. Then a folder will appear called flan, put your content packs in there.

That is for Windows not Mac, so you may need to adjust some of those, youtube it.
