So, just post one piece of technology unique to your faction or race, and explain it. I will start
The pressure gun This weapon works similar to an airsoft gun, except it has something similar to an internal combustion engine as the main propellant. The ICE like machine has a fuel source of either a fine Yttrium powder or a special compound with Yttrium, Hydrogen and Magnesium, all in a liquid state. The weapon fires a thick, needle like projectile, usually made of Yttrium-Iron, and commonly with some explosive or flammable backing. The pressure acheived by the ICE like machine is enough that anyone standing within 3 talons of the barrel will suffer from extreme, well, pressure. There are no pressure gun shotgun varients, as the pressure AOE would be too large for effective use, and any pressure gun assualt varients are remotely controlled. MOrtars are sometimes used, and the results of being near a pressure gun mortar are devastating. There was once an owl in the recovery building who operated a pressure gun mortar during the wars with the Triiduy. He had severe crushed bones, since our bones are hollow, severe eardrum collapse, one eye had near exploded, and some veins collapsed. The pressure gun is slowly fading out of use, though it is common to find officers with pressure gun side arms.

LJSI's weapon: Dr. Device. It's a little hard to explain, but anyone who's read Ender's Game will know it. If you haven't read the book, do so. It's one of the best science fiction novels around.

layered shielding: Special shields that can completely repel almost all sort of attack (provided that the shields are on and powered). Including mass plasma and energy weapons.

Read ALL the books!
from what I've read of it the foundation trilogy seems better
or the martian way
then again I've read very little of it :L

My device? The Harmonic- Pulse Intensifier Cannon, utilizing the power of sound waves to literally "vibrate" something to destruction. Unjar electronics, smash heads, ect. It can shatter steel like it was glass. Being hit with a sledgehammer.

Raze assult rifle:Fires a M.E.D or a Hellfire bullet.Hellfire's should rip you apart from three blocks away,4-8 should kill you.
This rather interesting device stabilizes a small pocket of the same dimension used for faster-than-light travel. Normally this dimension is too unstable to attempt to store anything in, as it tends to eject matter back into our dimension, thus ships must actively spend energy in order to remain. However, the handheld QAS is a self contained device that stabilizes a small pocket of this dimension, as well as allowing rifts to be created to this pocket; thus allowing for a small device no larger than a hand to contain over 4000 cubic meters of space. All power is supplied by the pockets constant attempt to 'shove' everything inside it down into our own dimension, and as stabilization is a complex but rather efficient process, and because the more matter is inside the pocket the less it 'shoves' each individual atom(and visa versa), the device will never run out of power, even if a complete vaccume is created inside the pocket; as zero-point energy causes electron-positron pairs to be formed and thus energy can be obtained from the pocket's attempt to shove these pairs into normal space.
A interesting note, because the rest of the dimension is not stabilized but still can form electron-positron pairs, it is completely devoid of energy. All energy dumped into the dimension, excluding stabilized areas, will eventually drain back into the normal dimension.

The gravity manipulation device.
Discovered on a dead planet, this mysterious device was built by an ancient, and powerful race. It is used in the core of Atlantis, The Futurecraft Empire's city-ship. It allows the ship incredible speed, and also allows the city to pull objects into it, crashing them into the cities powerful shields, or push objects away, deflecting weapons-fire, and causing ships to smash into each other.

Why Atlantis instead of, say, High Charity or any other name?

Gravitational destabilizer : Exists in Freespace Universe. The work methods or the real purpose of this weapon are still unknown to this day. This weapon was only found on the SJ Satanas class ships. The weapon manipulates the gravitational fields of the target from distance without serious energy investment. The Shivans used this weapon only once to blow up Cappela's star, destroying the system in the process. The more interesting fact is that at certain conditions the collapse of the star creates a huge subspace node possibly linking the shivans to their distant homeworld. This can allow in theory the transfer of reinforcements which can serve as a deadly weapon : From what we've seen at Cappela those reinforcements can reach thousands of Satani, which means curtain annihilation to all species in the vicinity and the creation of even more of those portals.
There is a vid of it BTW

The Lost Legion of Time has an extraordinary piece of tech. I bring you the intradimensional methodical teleportation and destabilization drive. As the name suggests this beauty can teleport ships between dimensions. Similar to a hyper-drive, but a lot harder to use and create. It can also teleport (the proper term is "quasi-dimensional hyperactive rift navigation", because of its de-stability and the fact that because matter cannot be created nor destroyed the matter of the object from the dimension it was moved from transform into a wave of "power" on the scale of a supernova) whole planets and planet sized creations. The "power" wave can destabilize whole dimensions if large enough objects are moved, especially dimensions were the physics necessary for the drive to work are near impossible or ones that are resulting from a "Big Collapse" (we were stuck in one once, NOT FUN), the opposite of the "Big Bang". The "Time" part in our name comes from the fact that dimensional travel can appear to be time travel if you arrive in a dimension that is exactly the same as yours except earlier in your history, and the fact that we drifted for a VERY long time.
This drive was used by the last remnants of The Empire to escape from The Intelligence before it could completely destroy The Empire. Our legion (the military organizational unit of The Empire) became lost after becoming trapped in a dimension with physics dissimilar from our original one. This, combined with idiotic drivers, caused us to lose our place in dimensional drift (hence the "Lost" part in our name). After 5 decades of drifting our engineers fixed our drive and we ended up in this dimension, which is not dissimilar to ours but The Empire was destroyed long before even the fifth decade of the so called "A.D.". Sadly because of a slight but impossible to find difference in physics between our two dimensions, and the need for immense amounts of power required (it would require at least 200 solar systems to power one jump), we have not left this dimension for one with less enemies and competing empires.
