They're already as such. A swarm of corvettes can take out a single cruiser, easy. In this way ship diversity is encouraged so people won't just stroll about in massive dreadnoughts that pwnz0r everything.

But then some people might make a ton of corvettes and decimate a fleet of cruisers, battlecruisers, frigates and a dreadnought. There would need to be a balance in ship classes.

Build faster tracking smaller caliber weapons for dealing with corvettes, than, instead of dedicating all of your weaponry to cruiser-busters.

Exactly. In this manner we can build Specialist starcraft or multipurpose ones that sacrifice damage but are able to be effective against a wider variety of targets. I think this could work very well with end user ingenuity.

If you killed someone, they probably interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with someone who interacted with you. By killing that one person you're altering the present, so consequently everyone fades away and are replaced by exact copies with a different memories due to the history you erased.

Listen, Pats new ship can only be stopped in two ways.

1: destroying the ship before completion

2: Creating a battle plan that can, some how, outsmart Pat. (very hard but possible)

1. Kamikaze ships - works every time Razz
2. A super how you call it ... "Dreadnaught" ...
3. Why should we engage this ship for now ? I know that at least my base is surrounded by freaking tons of weapon modules and one ship cannot protect systems , so I can simply outmaneuver pat and strike at his flank, that’s OFC if he spent all his recourses on this particular ship and doesn't have a fleet.
4. As long as you have the critical mass to destroy the ship's hull it has point to disarm the ship and let your fleet to do the rest. That would be a bloody battle in front of his main cannon but the results should be more than satisfying.
5. Why should we fight again ? Make a peace treaty with pat and problem solved Smile .

OFC pat will have something for all cases , but what I like about this mod is the total element of surprise - you never know how big is the ship your enemy hides in the nebula ...
