I'm having some trouble with the pictures, but there are more and better ones on their site. The model is about 10 feet long and five feet wide.

It's a ballpark estimate. There's no good way to do it. They can't really count them before assembly, because they don't know exactly what they're going to need before they've actually built the thing.

Wouldn't hurt as much as a single brick, the pressure would be a lot less due to the larger surface area and therefore it wouldn't be as painful as, you know, stepping on a fecking Lego brick.

Note here: Stepping on LEGO studs doesn't hurt at all. You can walk on those green baseplates without even noticing them. What hurts is when a brick is sitting by itself on the floor. One of those 1-centimeter cubes they use to learn about measurements in primary schools hurts just as much.

I though we'd been over this. I have a list of all my Star Wars LEGOs stored on this computer, so if anyone needs to reference it to know what to get me for Christmas, here it is:

About half of those are on a wall of bookshelves in the LEGO room. The others are in a closet with full shelves in the room next to it. The LEGO room also has all my other LEGOs, the bulk of which are Castle and Bionicle, as well as the tubs of random parts and some boards and stuff that I build on.
