To be fair, it's not all that surprising the kind of philosophical question this choice poses is really lost on a forum about a mod that's going to be primarily about killing other people's stuff. Destruction = the bee's knees.

Secondly, the fact that they aren't absolutely benevolent doesn't automatically make them malevolent. It's a matter of priorities. Unless they make blatantly malevolent choices in their lives, I see no issue with their neutrality.

This may be a forum built around such a mod, but we're not discussing the mod. If only we could just collectively shelve all that for a while and exercise some real philosophical thought.

I guess I should provide reasoning behind my choice of Lokt. Lokt is about gathering Power. Typically when you have power, you're noticed. I've pretty much always been ignored, never talked to, never any "Good morning," or "How was your day." With the powers provided by Lokt I could easily amass power and be noticed. Allow me to quote the image for my points. "to subjugate others" subjugate: verb to bring under domination or control, esp. by conquest. Again with the powers provided by Lokt that would be easy. With imperium, I would influence the leaders of the world to step down, and Stronghold to build a capital, from there I will raise an army, and take those who have yet to submit to my rule. As the new leader of the world I would focus researching military equipment and space travel, mainly for my amusement.

The Taboo I have no problem with, I have yet to form any sentimental relationships with anyone, and I would assume it would be easy to continue doing so.

That might be the best reason to accept powers from a devil-like evil god I've heard.
Also I'm thinking about changing my choice to Ersu. I didn't read everything about the powers and stuff, and really as long as I have a good computer with me I'm fine.

Also just a little FYI for Lux: You will perceive time 3 times slower than normal. Might be hard to get used to.

Actually, I now made my choice. Ersu. The wanderer who spreads hope. I guess, in a way, that's immortality too, though.
