| Ahem! First off, sorry for the cheesy name, I really couldn't think of a better name in the 5.4 seconds I gave myself to think of it. Secondly, I would like to thank everyone who reads this post and contributes to it. After all, constructive criticism never killed anybody. Now, back to actual purpose of this thread. Excidium Sacrem Lucem ---------------------------- This ship is a cruiser modeled after the Romulan ships that always managed to decloak off the port bow. And for those to lazy to go to Google Translate, Excidium Sacrem Lucem means the destruction of holy light. This ship has hardly anything except military might which includes a large engine room that could easily overpower the ship, a forward turret, wing turrets (not yet added), and a large bridge. The crew quarters are in the wings. The only downside to this ship is it's relatively small docking bay. Screenshots: - Spoiler:
From the front. Just at a stylish angle. From the back. From the side. The underside.

| I think I have just justified my point about not having windows on smaller ships. They look terrible (hey, I learnt the hard way. I built a battle cruiser entirely by hand (come to think of it, I mucked around so much during the construction that it was never finished), and put windows on it. Didn't turn out so well.
Either way, it looks fairly good, but the "head" seems disproportionate to the "body". There are a few other size issues, the fact that it seems too high for its length or the fact that it just "ends" at the back.
Still, it's a lot better than quite a few ships I've seen on the server, and is especially good for a first try.

Thank you for your feedback; I was definitely going to make the head bigger, maybe even to the point of sustaining multiple turrets in it. Maybe I was unclear, but the head is only the housing for the turrets. The bridge is the room on the top of the ship. As for the back, what exactly did you have in mind when you said it just ends? I can't see anything else there, but maybe that's just me.

| You might went to strengthen that tunnel that leads to the head. One blase and you have all your air rushing into space. | |

Bad argument. The whole ship has the same width of armor, so no matter where they blast, air will be rushing in. And also, I thought that ship health would be a value, and when the value is exhausted, your ship's blocks would be destroyed when hit? If not, I would like to know how it does work.

| Blocks will be destroyed simultaneously to losing health. How much health you ship has is proportional to the amount of blocks your ship has. The amount of damage dealt to your ship depends on how many blocks were destroyed. So if you put super dense armour on the outside of the ship, less damage will be dealt then if you made it out of gold, say.
Of course, shields are going to be the source of most life on the ship. One shields are depleted, all the armour in the world is only going to buy you a few more seconds. Or it could buy you a few minutes, if the enemy just used all the power firing a MAC into you...

| Couldn´t you use something like Atomyc Strykers Multi Mine to make the Ship easier to repair if you got minor damages Robots wouldn´t make sense if there isn´t something like this Okay they couldrepair the Ship by using a backup plan but this would cost no resources
@Ach0025 stop to say that anything I post is Bullshit (okay it isn´t this bad but the sense Is the same)

Robots wouldn´t make sense if there isn´t something like this Okay they couldrepair the Ship through a backup plan but this Robots make perfect sense, its not like you have the time in a battle to repair some bullet holes yourself, and the crew will be too occupied with killing the enemy to do it, so robots are the only choice. Also, what in Sköll's name is Atomyc Strykers Multi Mine?
