| I would like to do models, but I don't want to spend several thousand dollars on a modeling program.
Didn't somebody say there was a free student version? | |

| Yes that was me who said that:) I said you can get softimage, maya, 3ds Max all of which are professional progams for 3d modeling for free if you sign up as a student with the students.autodesk.com If have 3ds Max and Maya cause I homecschool and I signed up as that. I can get a couple of liscenses if anyway wants them. | |

I must, must, must, must look into this. My Dad refused to get Maya because it was 2,000 dollars, but if I could get it for free.. | |

| I really don't see the point of using 3DS max or Maya for something like this. Polygons and flat textures. All we need to work with. We're not making movies or photorealistic renderings. | |
