Humans++ was pretty 1337 back in the day. Ships and Boats is also really good, if you can get around your ship wrecking spontaneously sometimes.

Adds some pretty cool endgame-stuff (also makes a Macerator extremely hard to get if you donĀ“t disable the config)

No really, of the mods I have use the zeppelin mod is hands down the one I use most and do most with, the remote control system makes it very useful for building Tracey island like concealed entrances and various mobile systems.

Flans mod is a novelty in SSP, hopefully flan didn't die, he needs to update it to 1.4.x SMP.

Flan didnĀ“t die, he actually posted a status update in his mod thread on Nov. 2nd saying that his coding consists of people who are currently occupied with academic work and thus canĀ“t update the mod (Flan says that there were massive changes in Minecraft lately which, combined with the size of his mod, seem to slow down updating extremely)

Actually I've tried ship building in a comstruction ship, it was a station in the end, but it was damned difficult and I gave up, fun though.

However once I tried making a replica of Tracey island (Thunderbords FTW) and used the zeppelin blocks to make a series of hangar doors, all remotely controlled from one control room, which was pretty cool. For a mod that only adds five things, you can do some pretty awesome stuff with it.

For shipbuilding, it can be used to fly anything like a frigate of smaller, which is pretty fun to roam around a world in a frigate, laying waste to all you see.
