Grounded - Wastelands

Backstory to the roleplay.

The crew of a mixed-race mercenary starship (everyone is from this one ship.) crash-lands on an unknown planet. Stretching the term "habitable" to the lmiit, the crew need to survive on a near-destroyed starship, a few supplies, and a barren landscape.

only makes sense that the crew would be birds.seeing as they have no hands so they cannot steer a ship, thus it crashing

I have a race of birds. They can can control a ship. ACH has a race of birds. They can control a ship.

See, when you quit sitting on your hands and come up with your own lore and ships you gain a trait called 'creativity'.

My avian race, the Tiens, operate on the notion that evolution has given way to make the bones in their wings less in number and the remainder more flexible, allowing the use of them as graspers. The skin still covers them, and wings are viewed as a cosmetic much like human hair.

Generally, a species will make it so it can interface with its own technology. Geez, you humans are so self-centered, thinking all technological interfaces have to be made for 5 fingered hands.

Mixed races? Maybe a merc ship or something.

I do not like the idea of humans attempting to reproduce with avians

Might as well rename this thread "Broken Wing"

While you were all busy bickering instead of trying to survive, some giant creature came to the ship, tore what's left of it open and ate you all one by one. It was the best meal it had for several years now.

It's seventeen stomachs will slowly digest you for months in order to draw out the maximum amount of nutrients for this creature to survive as long as possible on this harsh world.

Merc Ship, mixed races. Everyone decides their own race and rank (Fenway or Keon is ship commander, 'cuz they're mods. First come, first served.)

Race: Owl. Notable strengths: Can fly and breathe fire
Notable weaknesses: Cannot withstand radiation as well as humans. Cannot enter smaller spaces.
